We set it up to try it before the baby is born. The manual showed how the swinging with an empty relax works, it also had a photo. However, the relax does not work empty, it needs weight to start swinging. We put the newborn 3.5 kg and the poor thing disappeared inside the relax, I think it is for bigger babies, definitely not from birth. Now it is 2 months old, weighs 5.3 kg and it is starting to sit properly, the size of the baby fits the size of the relax without its body being folded in half. Our baby doesn't seem to be comfortable, he cries. However, we will continue to put it in for a few minutes each time, maybe gradually he will get used to it and like it, it is very helpful. The fabrics are washable and the color/design is very nice.

Initially, we ordered it to be electric, but it ended up coming with a battery. At first, it showed discomfort inside it, but after two months, it started to like it and sit in it for a long time. The songs are cute, but it doesn't have a specific purpose. The rocking has five levels, and for now, we use the first one, which has a normal speed. As for the vibrating function, it doesn't show any interest. Finally, it has a hanging toy, but you can add more.

Very nice recliner. I have it for about half a month. The baby (almost 2 months today) not only sits in it but also sleeps. Quality construction.

I believe that the weight limit of 9 kg for the swing is mainly due to the chair itself rather than the motor power. Although the indication is from birth, I think the baby should be around 1-1.5 months old to sit comfortably inside. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the purchase, it does what it says but like all products, anyone who wants extra features for the 7-8 months they will use it will have to go up the economic scale.
