I replaced a wireless thermostat Siemens with this one and I can say I am very satisfied. When it works in PID mode, there is a difference in the perceived temperature. My previous thermostat worked in intervals of 0.5 degrees, while the rev13 works in intervals of 0.2 degrees. It learns how quickly the room temperature rises and falls and adjusts the boiler accordingly. It is very easy to set up and so far I am completely satisfied.

  I have already taken it once for service a year after the purchase date. There was no sign on the screen even though the batteries were new. They replaced it with a new one back then. At the moment I am writing to you, the problem remains, sometimes the indications appear normally, sometimes it shows absolute emptiness and indicates low batteries when they are full. It is now out of warranty and I will probably go for a new one. Real disappointment.

  The brand new thermostat they gave me today broke down. Exactly the same problem as the first one. When the batteries ran out and I put new ones, the screen started flashing until it never turned on. I assumed the first time that it was a defective piece but it seems that the problem is widespread.

  I have installed two thermostats, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, for two years now. Until today, no problem. The self-learning function is very useful and economical, as depending on the rate at which the temperature rises in the room, the thermostat gives the command to shut down the boiler earlier, so the set temperature is never exceeded and there is fuel savings.

  Until the 4th day everything was fine, on the 5th day of use it suddenly froze and all the indicators stayed still (it showed the time it froze). No matter which button I pressed, it didn't respond, I tried to reset it, nothing happened, I took out the batteries again, nothing (the indicators remained on the screen even without batteries). Tomorrow I will return it and we will see. According to its functions, it is very good (if it works), but due to the problem and considering the case of another buyer here whose device broke, I will rate it with one star. Also, I was left without heating.

  Second day of operation and the machine shows that it is working and with every ignition and shutdown it learns the space. It maintains the temperature stable with small deviations of + - 0.1 to 0.2 degrees. It is excellent. The only thing is that maybe I would need 3 heating cycles but it is very efficient and operates as described in the manual.

  Easy to program and with the PID function it saves money by calculating the inertia of the heating system.
  The burner turns off exactly when it should, so that the temperature does not go much higher than what has been set.

  Apart from being relatively complicated to use, with a below-average interface, this is the second one that broke with minimal use. The first one was replaced for free and without any objections at the store where I bought it (kudos to them, excellent service). Let's see what will happen with the second one; I will have to go through the replacement process again and unfortunately burden myself with the same product.
  Personal opinion: Leave the brand "SIEMENS" that attracts us like flies. I am sure that if you search well (unlike me), you will find a "specialized" manufacturer whose thermostat will be both reliable and better.
