When they die, the fine skeletons remain, which are the hard, porous outer cell walls of the diatoms, primarily composed of silicon dioxide, which settle, accumulate, and form large deposits, diatomaceous earth
Dioforce Diatomaceous Earth, comes from freshwater diatom deposits, selected, very high purity it is a 100% natural product and of FOOD GRADE quality. It can be used as a natural product against insects – pests.
Dioforce Diatomaceous Earth is suitable for safe use in pet areas, homes, warehouses, raw material storage silos, sheepfolds, poultry houses, stables, pigsties, crops, and even vegetable gardens. Applied even on or around vegetables, there is no safety period for their consumption, just washing. It is non-toxic to humans, warm-blooded animals, and the environment, and most of the time, more effective than chemical pesticides. Insects and other pests do not develop resistance to Dioforce Diatomaceous Earth.
The way it acts against pests – insects is, causing damage/puncture to their exoskeletons due to the particular sharp shape of the diatomaceous earth, resulting in their dehydration and ultimately death.

I have filled the house inside out with dust and I have not seen any results. I have thrown dust in a corner of the house where there has been a spider for 1 week and it is not dehydrating.
