  Unacceptable for a watch of about 400 euros to lose connection with the mobile every hour and require constant pairing in a not-so-user-friendly menu. I hope someone from Casio sees these messages because it's simply throwing away 400 euros. It's a shame for a company with such a reputable name.

  I have it here for ten days. Very expensive GPS, which was tested in outdoor running, accurate heart rate monitor, and many functions and sensors, which work exceptionally well. The battery seems to last a long time and I haven't charged it yet (the battery was halfway when I received it and it has dropped one bar, as it has been almost constantly at home, which is sunny). The connection with the app is very easy, and through it, you can customize and monitor many things. I highly recommend it!
  P.S. UNBELIEVABLY EXPENSIVE IN GREECE! I bought the transparent color from Italy for 288 euros, while here during the same period it had (and still has as I see) 445 euros, 160 euros more!!!! Simply tragic... And even if I had bought the cheapest color from Greece (black was 373 at the time, and it was the cheapest), we are still talking about a big difference.
  Update 2-3-2022: I see that after I complained about the prices in Greece, some colors have dropped significantly. Especially the white one, which went down to 299 euros. Well done! The transparent one that I bought, on the other hand, is still high!

  The prospective buyer should study it carefully, so they do not complain later that they thought the watch would do something else.
  All observations are made based on the LATEST version of its software:
  The heart rate monitor is accurate (when the instructions are strictly followed), but when it comes to bursts of heartbeats (e.g., sets with heavy weights) it "loses" it for a while. There is no such issue while running.
  The GPS works very well when it "locks" (for a watch). Beyond the above:

  Excellent screen clarity (even at different angles) and nice negative display
  Very soft and comfortable strap
  Accurate (for a watch) measurements from all sensors
  Ability to calculate altitude based on GPS and not just based on the barometer (although it doesn't always succeed or doesn't do it immediately)

  Primarily missing are the sunrise and sunset times and secondarily the phases of the Moon
  I would like the barometer graph to have a recording option every half hour (like in some ProTrek models) and not just every two hours.
  In the altimeter, I would like to see (on the watch screen) the measurements from previous days in numbers and not just in a graph
  On the home screen, I would like to have other measurements as an option, such as the barometer graph (see all ProTrek models)
  In the alarm clock, I would like more settings (like in several other G-Shock models), e.g., repeat the alarm only on weekdays or an alarm for just one time
  There is an issue (which may be resolved with some upgrade) in fully recognizing Greek characters. For example, in the caller's name, it may write "Κ•στας" instead of "Κώστας." The same remark applies to other notifications, as long as they include Greek words. This is for anyone interested in notifications (as personally, it does not concern me).

  I had the Scuunto X-Lander for over 20 years, which gave up the ghost, Casio replaced it, with its philosophy (barometer altimeter compass chronometer etc) plus the GPS running walking and all the additional goodies it has, the watch is amazing, precise in all its measurements, it is impressive how accurate it is in heart rate (I have been checking it with a blood pressure monitor for a month now) compass and altimeter needed calibration and they are perfect, I was also impressed by the running functions as well as the Casio app for the mobile, battery permanently fully charged by the sun, it doesn't mind seas, baths, washing, a watch for the rest of your life, simply amazing, if you know what you're looking for, it's a no-brainer, great watch

  For me, who does light running 2-3 times a week and goes hiking occasionally, the tracking is great. I would say it's not suitable for someone who does triathlons, as it has limited sports functions.
  The watch fits nicely on my wrist, the strap is comfortable, and the watch itself is sturdy. It's a G-Shock, and it has survived a few falls without any damage.
  Personally, although it has ABC functions, I miss the sunrise/sunset function. I would have liked to have it for my trips, and unfortunately, when I bought it, I didn't notice that it didn't have it. I assumed that an ABC watch would have it.
  Battery-wise, living in Greece, I don't have to worry. It charges from the sun, and I have never had to charge it myself. The battery is always full.

  The watch is not for someone who had an Apple Watch or an Android smartwatch. The watch is for people who want to run outside and record some things about their performance. It should also be rugged and have no problem with water, mud, or swimming. It is very helpful for interval exercises and also has GPS. The best thing for me is that it simply notifies you who is calling you on your phone so you can simply choose who to answer. The same goes for messages, Viber, emails, etc. You can neither answer nor send annoying sounds and you have to customize it as if you have a mobile phone.

  Experience here for five days! If you want accuracy in measurements, look for something else. If you are a fan of the brand name, then okay. Bad in measuring heart rate, with always-on measurement it measures 39 or 140 heartbeats at some point the measurement completely disappears, meaning it doesn't measure at all, and the funny thing is that when you take it off your hand, it continues to measure heartbeats non-stop! (Like the puppet's wedding). Notifications from the mobile phone come normally, it synchronizes perfectly and easily, and as for the Greek language, it recognizes it half-half, when it doesn't understand the character, it puts a square in its place. The step counter measures the slightest movement of the hand as a step. Otherwise, it is sturdy, beautiful, and despite its size, it is comfortable on the hand, in other words, it is a G-SHOCK. It is definitely not what it claims to be and generally very bad for nothing. Before making a purchase, think about it carefully.
