I realized (unfortunately after the holiday) that this specific transmitter comes in three versions, depending on the country for which it is intended. The number of channels that each version has and the frequencies on which it transmits play a role.
1. 8 channels PMR446 - 446MHz (Europe)
2. 20 channels 409MHz (China)
3. 22 channels FRS/GMRS - 462MHz and 467MHz (America)
PMR446 (Private Mobile Radio / 446 MHz Private Mobile Radio Network) is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum in the extremely high frequency range, which is available for business and personal communication without the need for a license in most countries of the European Union.
FRS and GMRS are official American standards for transceivers widely sold in these countries. They have 14-22 channels, on frequencies 462MHz and 467MHz, and are NOT LEGAL for use in the United Kingdom or Europe.
Based on the above, pay attention to your options. I am not knowledgeable about the subject. I did a quick research as I "fell for" this particular product.

  Edit 7-8-2019. After a lot of use and testing in various situations, I declare myself impressed mainly by the range but also by the sound quality! It was tested at a very long distance with many obstacles in front and it performed very well! One of the two bells rings a little if you shake it, meaning something has come loose inside, but it has taken quite a few falls. Nevertheless, it still works perfectly fine!
