After a year of use, I can write about my experience!
The combs? Decorative
The steam? It never worked for me! From the first day I put water in it and tried to use it, the water was running out, resulting in me having to empty it to avoid becoming flambé!
Every time I use it (about 3 times a month), my hair becomes like straw and burns! (My hair is naturally without dyes) and yes, of course, I use heat protection products, and of course, I don't have it on the high setting!

I have had it for quite a while, the temperature is very strong, I was using it on the 2nd heat setting and it burned my hair. It is heavy, the material is not of good quality, it seems that if it falls it will break. The little combs are very clever but they often unclip. The steam is very little, I always use demineralized water. Overall, I don't think I wasted my money but I am not satisfied.
It lasted me 10 months, at a certain point if you touched it you could feel a slight electric shock. It was fine until after a few months it started to smell burnt. The fact that there is no indication if the water in the tank has run out doesn't help.

While it is good as a press, it broke within 3 months. When I sent it back, thinking that the warranty would cover it, they did not fix it. From what I saw and from other comments, other users had a similar experience, so I suggest you spend your money elsewhere!
The steam is low, it requires frequent cleaning with salts (obviously I only use demineralized water). If you do a good straightening with steam, it will last much longer than a conventional straightener. I can't get curls with this device. I consider that it's not worth its money.
Very good product. I have been using it for a year and I don't think about changing it. It suits me for straightening my hair, which I usually do with steam. I feel that my hair is not as damaged as with old products in general. I recommend it compared to other products that are much more expensive on the market.
I have had it for about 3 months now. It is very fast, the combs it has help a lot, and with the steam, I feel like I have better results on my hair. It definitely damages the hair like all others do, but it is much better than a regular one that I had for several years. I don't have an opinion on other steam ones, but for its price, it is definitely value for money. It is somewhat heavy to hold.
Here, curly hair type, a bit below Solomou.
Well, I don't know if it's the machine's fault or if I have helped the situation with leave-in creams and oils, but this straightener has made my life much easier.
It has large plates, which is important for my hair, which is thick and voluminous.
I believe the steam helps, but even when the water runs out and I don't feel like adding more, it still performs satisfactorily without steam.
I have also noticed that it releases water droplets, but it's probably because I fill it up.
For my hair, I think the straightening holds up well, considering I live on an island with incredible humidity. So, it's a success, and I don't want pin-straight hair anyway; I prefer a bit of movement.
Ideally, I would like an extra button to confirm the steam function and some indication when it needs water.
I would also like the combs to be more stable and not come off because they do help. Alternatively, I completely remove them and "pull" the section with a round straw brush as I pass the straightener.
Another extra tip that has helped me:
Since I can't use the hairdryer until my hair is completely dry, resulting in residual moisture and inconvenience, I straighten them the day after washing, and I feel like they are less stressed and last longer.
Lastly, I think as a product, it has helped me, along with the Lovern frizz leave-in for heat protection, which gives them some shape, whether I straighten or leave them curly.
That's it. I hope I helped. Happy straightening!
I have had it for 1.5 months and I use it daily. It works perfectly, straightens the hair very quickly, and makes it very soft. What they say about the bristles getting stuck does not happen to me, maybe because I have relatively straight hair and not curly. It is a value for money purchase, I highly recommend it.
Excellent......my hair is not even like this after the hairdresser does it with this specific product...I have very frizzy hair...and yet with this specific one, I managed to avoid frizz...perfect product!!!!
Good straightening and it seems to be very well made. Not fake. It produces good steam and the hair really holds.
However, a significant problem is that hairs get stuck between the plate and the device's connection. And it really pulls them out. Maybe it only happens with long hair? I don't know. Anyway, I didn't expect this for the money.
I bought it 3 days ago. I have very curly hair that easily frizzes and thick hair strands. Honestly, my hair was completely straight with just 2 passes. Obviously, it damages the hair like any straightener, but definitely less. It is definitely worth the money and more. I highly recommend it!
I bought it for my girlfriend with curly hair.
She was thrilled with the result.
She told me that it is excellent, with a long cord, it doesn't burn the hair and it doesn't splash/lose water during use.
If anything comes up, I will come back. For now, it's perfect.
Almost two months of use and I only hear good things about the device
