Maria Montessori has a catalytic influence on modern epistemology, as it is now inextricably linked with the pedagogical science, which is established on trust and not just on method. In school contexts, the term freedom means being able to do what one wants without infringing on the freedom of others. The school is obliged to pursue the internal freedom of children by freeing them from fear, hypocrisy, hatred, and intolerance.
