  The jump rope is as shown in the photo, silver, very thin, around 2.5mm I think. Its metal non-slip aluminum handles are satisfactory in weight for me, enough to feel like you're holding them. Not heavy, nor feather-light.
  It shows quality construction with sturdy bearings, so it's durable, and its length can be easily adjusted by unscrewing the screws by hand, which are not flimsy! So, I don't think they will get lost.
  Now... The very thin speed ropes with wire and PVC coating are aimed at experienced individuals. Although I'm a beginner, it didn't whip me, I just can't do as many repetitions as an experienced person. Slowly...
  It's a very nice jump rope, branded, economical for a metal one with this quality.
  It's definitely worth the money, and from what I read, Optimum has been around since 1997, so it's reliable. I researched it before buying, even though it's something of little value. I recommend it for purchase.
