The SSD is simply amazing!! I have the MacBook Air M1 chip and with the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes in the package, I reach speeds of 700mb/s write and 800 to 900 mb/s read!! Okay, obviously it doesn't have the prices it claims above, meaning 1000 write, 1100 read, but still it's incredibly fast! Anyone who does video rendering entirely from the SSD will obviously see something more expensive and better, but for image editing and everyday use, it's the best thing out there! The T7 doesn't heat up at all even after hours on the laptop! In other news, it only has a small light that flashes when transferring files! And for those wondering, it also comes with a USB 3.2 to USB-C cable in the package, so don't worry about having to buy another cable! Get it!!

It is amazing, fast, and very convenient in size. I use it on a MacBook Pro. No connectivity issues with type-a and type-c
So far quite good. It will show how well it lasts over time.
Note that it comes formatted in exFAT.
For me, it seems that the USB type-C was problematic.
The regular USB works fine.
edit: I see that indeed everyone is complaining about the cable.
This is exactly what I expected, an extremely high-quality device, recognized easily & quickly, both by Windows 7 and Windows 10. I didn't measure data transfer speed, but what I found is that everything went well during the almost continuous transfer of 340 Gb. I am absolutely satisfied...
External hard drive 500gb.. I transfer my files to it, to work on the projects! Silent, fast, and high quality!
The speeds it claims I haven't seen even with binoculars, however, I use it on an Asus gaming laptop for games on Steam and Epic Games like Fortnite, PUBG, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Death Stranding, etc. It doesn't lag, it doesn't overheat. It's EXCELLENT. 4 stars for the speeds it claims.
The usb-c cable of it you must be careful to connect, not just to put it in. Very fast, safe, quiet, sturdy, and .....small. When I bought it I thought it would be the size of an internal ssd, imagine my surprise when opening the package. It's not a problem for 'me, though.
Excellent purchase if you are looking for an SSD. I was between this and the Sandisk Extreme V2 which were at the same price and since this one came up on sale, I chose it and I was justified. It connects to my PlayStation, phone, laptop, and TV
When I went to copy files from the computer to the disk, it deleted them and you can't delete other folders. It shows problems; otherwise, it is flawless.
Pros
- Speed, durability, does not overheat, size, battery life
Cons
- The USB-C cable does not "click" well, if the computer moves a little the connection is lost.
- It seems to slow down a lot when the free space is reduced to 5-10%
I am generally satisfied. Its performance and portability make it an excellent choice. However, the cable stopped working in less than 1 year of careful use. So, one star goes for the cable and another one for its price.

I got it to keep a copy of the Macbook I have. Immediate connection and formatting on the Mac and fast backup. Okay, personally I don't have many things inside the Mac so for me everything is perfect!
The best SSD for professional use. Very small, thin, and light so you can have it with you anywhere. Speeds are very fast so you can work with large files directly from the disk.
I also have the T5 which was even better!! (with 512GB) lightweight, small, with good temperature preservation. Nice case.. (durable) even after a fall.. It doesn't understand anything. I would buy it again.
The cable in the package is short and inflexible. If you don't have much space and the port on the PC is close to the table (I have a desktop not a laptop), it is very difficult to connect.
I tried the cable of my mobile phone and it works much better.
It doesn't make sense to send back the cable (warranty, no warranty). The design is automatic. It will be a waste of time. If you have an issue with the cable, just get a good data cable, because the disk is bulletproof.
It is now VERY EXPENSIVE for the speeds it offers, so I suggest buying internal SSD NVMe (not SATA III) and putting them in cases (I recommend the "Ugreen CM400" or "LC-Power LC-M2-C-NVME-2X2"). Lower cost for up to +4X faster speeds. Look it up.
For example:
1) WD SN770 SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0: (Read 5150 MB/s Write 4850 MB/s) !!!!
at €135 + Ugreen CM400 at €35 = €170. Or with LC-Power (data transfer rate up to 20 Gb/s!!!!!!!) at the same price and with this one, you can achieve the advertised speeds of the SSD.
2) Kingston NV2 SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0 at €115 (Read 3500 MB/s Write 2800 MB/s) !!!!!!
+ LC-Power at €35 = €150!!!!
3) Are you a cheapskate and a show-off?
Then go for "Samsung 980 Pro SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0" Read 7000 MB/s!!!
Write 5100 MB/s!!!!! at €174 plus €35 for the LC-Power 20 Gb/s.!!!!!!!!!!!!
*both cases work perfectly on Apple devices

The hard drive is very good, I recommend it. It seemed a bit expensive to me since I got the 1TB one, but it is fast in transferring data, durable (it already accidentally fell from a height of two meters) and beautiful if you are interested (I have the red color). I highly recommend it.
Its use is as an external on the ps5, before this I had a classic 4gb disk which, however, could not handle demanding games and crashed the whole system.
After its installation, I did not have a similar problem.
Its dimensions are extremely small, the size of a credit card and a few millimeters thick.
As always, Samsung has made a perfect product. The disk is quite fast and has excellent construction. I prefer the one without the touch, but I will also get one with touch for a second
Small in size, very fast in data transfer (in collaboration with an SSD - transfers 50 GB in less than a minute). I am very satisfied with the purchase. It seems to have a durable construction, but I still give it more time to evaluate it.
Using it as an expansion disk on a Mac mini works very well. It is quiet, very small, and fast in file transfer. If it withstands the test of time, it will be a very good purchase!

Guys, I have had it for 2 years, it hasn't had any issues, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT, and it is much faster than regular SSDs. Obviously, if it disconnects for someone, it is defective and should be replaced immediately! The reason it is top-notch and inspires reliability is exactly that, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT. It has not disconnected even once in the 2 years for me! So now that its price has dropped by 40% since I bought it, it is by far the best choice among all drives in this speed category. Buy it YESTERDAY!
Very good and fast disk. The loading times have been reduced to a satisfactory degree, but don't expect to see next-gen speeds. Good build quality. The only negative is the cable that connects to the console. It is quite small. Inside the package, Samsung also provides a USB Type C to Type C and Type A. The 1TB may sound like a lot BUT due to the space required by games, 1TB is minimal. For example, a Call of Duty and a Forza Horizon 5 take up about 30% of the disk
Due to my profession as a sailor and the need for using a rugged external hard drive, I decided to purchase this product. As a former owner of an HDD external hard drive, I have to say that this particular hard drive has satisfied me to a great extent. It is fast, durable against falls and damages due to its operation compared to an HDD that operates with heads. It is truly value for money, I have bought a second one (1tb) because I was very satisfied with the first one, and it is certain that I will also buy a third one. The application that it has helps with its operation and user usage. It is truly a very good SSD external hard drive with very good characteristics and high speed, while also being very quiet. Now, with the summer, it is logical for it to heat up a little more during transportation, so it is good not to use it in temperatures like those outdoors. I highly recommend it!
Very nice hard drive externally at least. Lightweight, convenient, with separate connection cables for USB C and USB 3.0 ports. I bought the 1TB version.
