Clinical foods are not easy for our little friends as they probably resemble hospital meals. In liver issues, I believe Royal Canin has made a difference. After various trials, my cat stood out with it. She doesn't stay hungry nor does her mood get affected. I didn't see any change in her fur. I don't know if it's due to the liver food, but with this specific food, the waste is small and hard. Of course, we are a bit "spoiled"!!! (shhh...don't let anyone hear us...!!!) One year later and in combination with special treatment, the mild liver disease was fully corrected!!! On the downside, the lack of samples and small packaging, and the high cost for Greek standards. The packaging is indeed thick, but it requires attention to keep the content crispy and appealing to our little friends. Unfortunately, no matter what one does, the kibbles - as the bag gets emptied - become soft and sticky. Nevertheless, my kitten appreciates them. Be careful not to mix liver foods and similar treatments with different foods in a short period of time as it may cause vomiting. Overall, for liver dysfunction, Royal Canin Hepatic is a dietary one-way street. Thank you for existing.
P.S. I would like a corresponding wet food at some point.
