We usually seek the great revolutions in the historical journey of humanity in the sphere of politics. However, the revolutions that propelled humanity forward through the centuries occurred overwhelmingly in the sphere of science.

In August 2019, I had the unique fortune to spend 7 days with Stamatios Krimigis, one of the few scientists who has participated in key positions in all the groundbreaking achievements of humanity in Space. During the days we had discussions to gather material for the book, he hosted me at his home in Chios. Here is a man like all other men, who dresses like us, eats what we eat, jogs and has knee pains, but has achieved things that none of us are capable of: he has definitively conquered time, as his achievements will be remembered forever. Some, indeed, will continue indefinitely, such as humanity's greatest journey to date, the voyage of the Voyager I and II spacecraft.

Theoretically, this book is a biography. In reality, it is a lesson in life on how a person can make the most of their potential the measure of their life.
