Reviews
I have had these sockets for years and I am extremely satisfied. Connection to the Wi-Fi network is always seamless. It has a very powerful application with a multitude of features, programmers, if-then scenarios, etc. Plus, it includes a graph with consumption history throughout the day!

Did you find this review helpful?I develop applications and I have used it to automate functions in my house. You can easily integrate it into Shelly cloud to control it from your browser and mobile device. It provides a backend endpoint and credentials for you to access data and send commands if you are thinking of developing programs manually

Did you find this review helpful?I tried it purely for use with Home Assistant. Generally, Shelly as a company has a good reputation for designing compatible products, and this is no exception.
As for the setup, it is very simple. You connect to the access point created by the device, access the web interface through a web browser, and provide it with your WiFi credentials. Then, do the same process again, but this time with your own WiFi, and update the firmware.
If there doesn't seem to be a firmware update available, it means that the firmware is very old and the update needs to be done manually. To do this, you will need to use the Shelly Firmware Archive Link Generator from the following link, http://archive.shelly-tools.de/.
Please note that the firmware update is necessary, otherwise the device may not be detected by Home Assistant.

Did you find this review helpful? It is exactly as it appears in the photo. The top half protrudes from the socket, so there needs to be space in front. There is a transparent plastic in front that is a light that lights up in two colors, half blue and half red. It indicates if the device has power and if it is connected to the router. At night, it appears blue-red like an LED and it is beautiful. However, if it bothers you, you can turn it off completely or leave only one of the two indicators. As a device that I measured, it actually consumes less than 1 watt. Technically, the good thing about all Shelly devices is that they have their own Web Interface, so once you connect it to your home router, you immediately have a management environment for the device by simply entering the IP it received from the network. It is literally plug&play and in Home Assistant, which I connected it to, it recognized it immediately on its own with all its functions. For developers, MQTT is simple, but you will find instructions on the site. Everything is unlocked, manageable, and programmable. However, you have options for authentication and additional locking (username & password) in its own web interface.

Did you find this review helpful?Beautiful compact smart socket, fits well with others. Its application is satisfactory and installation is easy. I bought it because it is fully supported and officially by Home Assistant and other free solutions for Smart Home. But even without them, you can see consumption statistics perfectly and instantly, as well as daily/weekly. I will definitely buy more.
