The body is made of plastic. On the second use, I noticed that the plastic had cracked very close to the point where the metal needle screws in, so it sucks in air instead of marinade, and it no longer does its job.

It did its job for a few days and for unknown reasons (it didn't fall anywhere or get washed in the dishwasher) the polypropylene developed cracks starting from the nozzle bushing. Therefore, it lost its waterproofness...

I used it to extract liquids from a tray that was in the oven, at 160 degrees Celsius, on resistance, and the plastic container cracked, resulting in air entering and the syringe no longer sucking.
