The problem is that I wanted to run Windows 7, but when it tries to start, it loses the USB after a long struggle. I ended up installing Windows 7, but it couldn't find any devices. I have flooded all its internal ports with extra expansion cards, 6 hard drives, 8 extra USB header ports, except for the rear I/O, extra fans, liquid cooling, and whatever else fits inside. Dual Boot with Windows 7 & Windows 10. And the system has been working flawlessly from the very beginning, without a single hiccup, and I mean it. I have changed many systems, either Intel or AMD, with some very expensive motherboards, such stability, without any failed boot, not a single blue screen, not an F1, NEVER. The strange thing is that I had never bought a motherboard from MSI before, let alone one so cheap (it was purchased for €130). I have truly fallen in love with MSI after the usage experience I have had with this motherboard. I hope it proves to be reliable in terms of its longevity as well. 5/5 stars for MSI, and that's an understatement!

So far, with XMP profile at 3200, the processor automatically locked itself at 4.9GHz.

Did you find this review helpful?Those who say it has plenty of ports mean the internal ports on the motherboard, the ones behind the case/IO shield are few, I think a total of 5. I have to use one of the front ports to have everything connected the way I want it.
HOWEVER, it is a very good value for money motherboard, it handled everything I put on it, even with the small problems I had and dealt with immediately.
1. I installed an 11th generation processor (11600k) and to recognize it, the BIOS needs to be updated (you download the BIOS and flash it with a USB drive, very easy installation). So, those of you who want to install an 11th gen Intel processor can easily do so.
2. DDR4 RAM 32GB runs at 3200, which is the recommended clock speed/profile for them. PEN
3. Numerous ports for extra USB on the motherboard and SATA.
Negatives:
- The pins from the front panel were very loose, so if you move the cables even slightly, they come out.
- I couldn't install one of the 9 screws that attach to the case, it required a magnetic screwdriver as it was too deep to fit a hand. I don't remember if this is also due to the CPU cooler, but even though it's a large case, it was very cramped. But that's how it is, take it as you want, I didn't have a major problem, one less screw is nothing.
- The IO shield was the worst, you have to install it yourself, it wasn't pre-installed, and when I installed it, some USB ports didn't align properly even though they snapped in. It was frustrating, to say the least. I had to bend a small piece of metal to fit another USB because it was obstructed by one of the clips that got bent due to the cheap materials. Also, a minor detail, but keep it in mind or don't install the IO shield at all... I'm considering removing it, but I'm too lazy to go through the process of unscrewing.Overall, everything works perfectly, settings are easy to adjust, it reads new CPUs with updates, everything works fine. And for the price, it's an exceptionally good motherboard.

I personally had an issue with a controller that, although it worked fine, would not be recognized after shutting down the computer. I had to remove it from the USB port and plug it back in for it to "reinstall" every time I booted up (the controller worked fine on other systems). I decided to submit a ticket on MSI's official website to ask if they had any ideas about why this was happening, as the motherboard was flawless in all other aspects. The people at MSI responded in just a few hours (!) with detailed instructions and found the solution (they suggested enabling an advanced setting in the BIOS related to USB wake-up, which was disabled in my case). The problem was immediately resolved. Congratulations to MSI for the prices of its products and its customer support.
I would like to note only one negative aspect that other buyers may have noticed as well:
The motherboard shield seemed like it didn't fit perfectly with the motherboard during installation. It didn't align 100%. I tried 2-3 times to remove and reattach it correctly, but I couldn't get it to fit perfectly. Initially, there was a slight angle and a small gap in the back of the ports. Then, I adjusted the angle, but it still seemed like it didn't fully connect to the shield, and the ports were slightly more inward than they should be. However, everything looked normal at the edges of the shield. This is a minor detail, but I wanted to point it out. It features 12+1+1+2 phase VRMs with very good cooling, exceptional 2.5gbps LAN ethernet, supports DDR4 memory up to 5000mhz OC, has 6*4pin fan headers and two more for CPU and water pump cooler, M.2 shield frozr, 6-layer PCB, integrated display port/hdmi, countless USB ports, and generally I can't think of anything it doesn't have, well, it doesn't have wifi 6.0 but I don't care because I'm using ethernet :) and it doesn't have RGB lights, which I can still survive without...
Even the 10900K wouldn't have any complaints about this motherboard... let alone its smaller siblings 10600K, 10700K...
