Flawless soundbar at 300 euros, the best value for money option available since it includes the subwoofer. Combined with a Sony OLED Bravia, the result is truly impressive, with full sound, clear dialogue, and a justified choice for exclusively watching movies. The wireless subwoofer doesn't limit you, as it can be placed anywhere in a room or living room to further enhance the sound experience. The connectivity is very simple, especially when paired with a Sony Bravia TV, where the best method, according to Sony and reviews, is through an HDMI cable, which is not included in the package, in the eARC/ARC 4K 120HZ port.
Before every purchase, stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself. What do I want? Why do I want it? How good is it in relation to the money I will spend? What alternatives do I have at the moment? Is it worth waiting for something better?
So my review is based on all of these. Those who do not have a large living room and money for a complete home cinema or some kind of obsession with details in music hit a gold vein. The soundbar is the best at this price. It will meet your needs and more. Rich sound, enough settings, and immediate connection at least with the Sony TV I have.
I listened to 6-7 different ones in the store and always judged in relation to the money I would spend (yes, the Sony for 1300€ or the Sonos are better in all aspects but...) So, value for money and enjoy listening!
Connected with HDMI, eARC port, on a SONY XR55X90J 2021 model in a 40sqm space. With a price of 239 {with 20% discount (Public Syggrou) April 2023}, it is definitely very good for its money. It lacks in clarity and ATMOS, but with 3.1 speakers, don't expect a 7.1.2 performance. The eARC is useful - it eliminates the need for its remote control - and its construction is very good. It is not, of course, B&W or B&O or SONOS, but it is a very good and honest upgrade for your TV's speakers. Leave all settings OFF and play with the ie if you want. In music, the voice setting has a clearer sound.
An excellent speaker from Sony as always. To my surprise, the surround works very well and the sound is crystal clear and full even at high volumes.
Great improvement in terms of connectivity as well. Five minutes and everything works perfectly. Pair it with high-quality material and you will definitely be satisfied.
Positive: Tremendous build quality and materials, very nice screen with information that can be closed, quite powerful for its size, and the 3 front drivers are equally efficient, small size in comparison to a 55-inch TV, quite good menu with firmware update capability, HDMI Earc (I think one of the few with Earc at this cost), works flawlessly and plays everything from dts Dolby Atmos, etc., powerful subwoofer with a wooden cabinet, not plastic.
Negative: No wireless or wired capability for rear speakers, no 2 drivers facing upwards for Atmos capability, the default settings are unacceptable, it sounds like you're listening from a cave, all these gimmicks create a fake soundstage resulting in echo and unacceptable imaging, especially in stereo music and channels, in movies, yes, it provides that volume in sound, but as I mentioned, it lacks in other aspects.
Ps. I recommend turning off Effects, IE, basically everything, and let it work as a 3.1 with vocals in the center stereo L+R, surround, and sub.
Update: There is a new Firmware Update, install it and perform a bar Reset, and leave the Default settings, they are PERFECT. Finally, it adjusts itself according to the source, what should be turned on and off.

I bought it at a good price (€299) on Black Friday in November 2021 from a large chain store.
Two pieces, a soundbar and a subwoofer, and a remote control. All of them are very well made, with a nice design, and a solid feel both visually and when holding them, a feeling that is further enhanced by their weight, which indicates something sturdy and well-made. Even their cardboard packaging is sturdy, well-made, with good protection of its contents and without wasting materials.
I have connected the soundbar to my Sony 75-inch Android TV in my living room using HDMI ARC, and I can say that, together with its subwoofer, it elevates the sound experience! The significant difference in their sound quality is especially noticeable with high-quality sources, whether it's music or entertainment. However, it doesn't add anything particularly special to TV programs.
Overall, the connection is easy and simple, just one HDMI cable and two power cables (one for the soundbar and one for the wireless connected subwoofer). It may not fully cooperate with the Android TV system of the television through HDMI ARC, but with a complete restart of the TV, everything works as it should.
As a multi-channel system, I don't think its performance is truly satisfying, at least not as much as I would like. It tries, but it doesn't convince much. However, its overall sound performance is really very good! You can easily enjoy it in various audio situations.
The display is nice, but I would prefer it to be somewhat larger, both in terms of the number of characters displayed and its physical size, and definitely more distinguishable as it is located behind the external metal grille on the front. It is discreet when it is turned off, as it doesn't leave any marks, but it is quite faint when it is turned on. After a distance of 2 meters from the display, it becomes difficult to discern what it says, especially in non-static text.
The remote control of the soundbar is very nice, simple, and quite convenient, although you have to look at what you are pressing because the arrangement of most of its buttons is based on two columns, and with touch alone, you don't feel confident beyond its basic buttons.
Perhaps one may need to make an early adjustment to the soundbar that allows it to pass through the commands received by the IR sensor of the soundbar to the television, but from the television's remote control, so that the television's remote control always works smoothly for the television. This is because the physical position of the soundbar (which is usually slightly in front and slightly below the bottom end of the television) may somewhat obscure the IR sensor of the television (especially if all these are placed together somewhat high) and hinder direct communication between the television's remote control and the television. In my case, this was happening (and I needed to make the adjustment from the soundbar's menu) since I have everything placed on a relatively tall living room buffet.
Overall, I recommend this product to a wide range of people, those who want something powerful, reliable, compact in their space, with pleasant sound, and without having to spend a fortune.
With decades of experience in good sound, I have to say that it is an excellent product for watching movies and TV as well as listening to music.
Clear, very good tones, full and detailed bass, and perfect surround sound sensation in dts and Dolby atmos.
A Best Buy as the expert press has rightly characterized it at 350€.

Clean and high-quality sound with HDMI connection (on TVs that support ARC) for maximum performance and control of sound volume from the TV remote.
In no case is the 7.1.2 mentioned by Sony feasible, but with the correct settings enabled (Cinema mode and Sound mode) in movies with 5.1 sound, the sensation of having rear speakers is created. Increasing the volume does not distort the sound and remains clear.
As for the positives, it supports all the latest audio formats (Dolby Atmos & DTX) and has good build quality. However, the performance in atmos is limited due to the absence of vertical drivers (3.1) compared to other soundbars equipped with 2 vertical speakers (3.1.2). The simulation of depth/height of the sound is done digitally. Certainly, the produced sound has a wider range than a simple 3.1 system.
A negative aspect is that it cannot be upgraded with rear (wireless) speakers and perhaps for some, the lack of WiFi connectivity (it only connects via BT for music playback).
I connected it with HDMI to a Sony TV and to the PS, and with optical to the sound system, and it works perfectly. The TV, PS, and soundbar with HDMI are like one device. The sound is clear and deep, and with the options it has for movies, etc., it's perfect for the neighbor to call the police.
Good soundbar for upgrading the sound of the TV, without any other requirements though. Easy to connect and use, it works well and consistently, it doesn't have a particularly cinematic sound, it plays loudly and clearly without distortion but with limited surround sensation, it stands out only for its very good sound control, it doesn't ramble and never "buzzes". In music tracks, nothing special with moderate clarity in sound but loud, it seems more suitable for watching movies. Very good for TV channels as the voice sounds crystal clear even at low volume as it has a separate center channel. The woofer doesn't "boom" but the low frequencies that are lost in the TV can be heard. Purchased for 360 euros, satisfactory due to the quality of the device, it's simply an upgrade for the TV. Maybe at these performances, I would choose something a little cheaper even if it didn't have a subwoofer. I would give it 3 stars, but it gets 4 due to the quality of the device, connectivity, and support for all new technologies (eARC, Dolby Atmos, etc.).
I enjoy movies and series from Netflix, as well as movies that I download, much better compared to the speakers of my TV, as it supports the following audio formats: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby True HD, DTS-HD, Dolby Digital +, Dolby Digital, providing high intensity sound that is not distorted, and thanks to the center speaker, the dialogues sound exceptional. Combined with the deep bass of the subwoofer and the Vertical Surround function, it feels like I am in a cinema. Sometimes I also use it to listen to music, and I am satisfied with the quality. Additionally, it supports 4K HDR Dolby Vision. I connected my TV with an HDMI cable (eARC) and noticed that I got higher sound intensity compared to other connections (optical fiber, Bluetooth). It also has a USB port for software upgrades. It has good build quality and a matte surface that does not reflect light. I declare myself satisfied with the use I make of it.
