On a 2K screen, it cannot provide more than 1080p.
It might be good to add this to the description.

For 1080, it does what it says, hence the 2 stars.

It worked seamlessly right after connecting! I don't notice any difference in the image between direct connection with HDMI or through this adapter with Displayport.
