Compared to another one I have with a cigarette lighter cable that gets tangled and doesn't fully inflate, the Makita is quieter and has much less vibration, it only has the pump hose, you attach it and inflate. It comes with 4 adapters, a small white LED light for night use, and a screen for reading and adjusting the pressure in the standard units Bar/PSI/kPa. It is also useful for bicycles, balls, expansion tanks, and inflatable toys. Another use for the 18 Volt LXT batteries.

Did you find this review helpful?The machine is good for inflating car tires, bicycles, and small life jackets. These are stated in the machine's user manual. The working cycle of the pump is 5 minutes of operation and it should be turned off for 5 minutes to cool down. The machine is not suitable for inflating mattresses and inflatable pool toys, as confirmed by the Makita dealership employee when I called them to inquire about an adapter to inflate a mattress, as it was not included in the machine's accessories. I give Makita three stars because I would have preferred if they had released a machine that could also inflate mattresses and inflatable pool toys, like Dewalt has. Advice: read the technical specifications and user manuals of tools and machines before using them!

I preferred this 18V model over the Makita equivalent with 12V because I wanted it to be more comfortable for a possible future 4x4 purchase, which requires higher psi for the tires.
Also, the 18V is a slightly newer model than the 12V, and my reasoning was that they might have fixed any bugs or flaws from the 12V.USAGE
I have had it for 4 months, along with the Makita BL1830B (3Ah) battery.
Every Sunday, I fill air in the 4 tires of my car.
Usually, I want 1-1.5 psi in each tire, which takes about 2 seconds.
If anyone finds the information useful, so far, the battery indicator has not dropped a single bar.
To achieve greater accuracy, the mechanism stops slightly before reaching the desired psi, and you have to press the trigger again.
For example, I need 30 psi in my tires.
While I have set 30 psi on the device, it will stop at 29.5 psi.
Then I will release the trigger and press it again to reach the desired 30 psi.MEASUREMENTS
