The only issue I have with the product I bought is that I don't know how, but the juices from the steaks I grilled passed through and ended up ruining the electric grill's grate that I have
Very good membrane, I use it on a gas grill, it really frees you from grease and a lot of rubbing, it does what it promises and more! Now, as for whether it is good to cook food on the membrane because it does not let the grease fall into the collection tray and they cook together with the grease, it's another story! Personally, as soon as the meats, for example, start releasing a lot of fat, I absorb it with 3-4 sheets of paper, so I don't leave much grease. I am satisfied with your membrane, I highly recommend it
In a gas grill, it grills very well. One of the very positive aspects is that the fats do not run inside the grill, so it does not catch fire. The meat remains with the fats when it is grilled, so it does not dry out too much (although the fats still come out, maybe less). In a gas grill that has a ignition, it is good not to have the membrane inside, to put it afterwards. It is very easy to clean
Excellent! Nothing sticks to it. I collect all the excess fat with a kitchen paper so that it doesn't remain and burn, and everything is fine!
It is important to wipe it after cooking while the fats are still warm in order to remove the excess, and then wash it with soap in the sink :)
To prevent them from falling while cooking, it actually does the job. There is a slight doubt about whether it is healthy or not. However, it works perfectly for cooking
The food cooks very nicely on the gas grill that I have and it keeps the grill clean for longer. Washing the membrane in the sink is a hassle mainly because of its size, while in the dishwasher it is not easy to find a place to put it. UPDATE 12/07: After 4 months and about 20 grilling sessions, its non-stick ability has noticeably decreased. TIP: Cut it in half for easier cleaning
I used it on a gas BBQ. I grilled chicken breast and I dare to say that it came out better than grilling it directly on the grill. It didn't stick at all, the BBQ was spotless afterwards, and I believe that because it covers almost the entire surface of the grill, it causes it to reach a higher temperature resulting in better grilling. Also, because the juices don't run, the meat cooks and "fries" in its own juices, resulting in more flavor. Of course, there are no flare-ups, so the meat doesn't burn. I will try other meats to have a complete opinion. In any case, it's definitely worth the 18 euros and more! The only question mark is its durability, although it seems very high quality! Even if I only need it once a year, it's worth it (I grill often). Update. This membrane is definitely worth it and more. BUT, use it only for things that stick to the grill (chicken, vegetables, burgers, fish). For other things (e.g. sausages, steaks, etc.), it's not necessary and it's better to grill them directly on the grill to remove the fat.
