Fishing reel from Shimano, suitable for light rockfishing (lrf), match fishing.
Four bearings, combined with Dyna-Balance technology, provide the Sienna FG with smooth operation and perfect balance.
The reel's drum rotates with a gear ratio of 5.6:1, which means that for one complete turn of the handle, the spool will make 5.6 rotations.
The reel can hold 110m of 0.2mm thick fishing line, and if a thicker line is used, the capacity in length decreases.
Made from XT-7 material for high durability.
The "Propulsion Line Management System" will help achieve long casts by eliminating potential tangles.
Dyna Balance
Increases smoothness and balance while simultaneously being able to handle the loads transferred by the internal parts of the mechanism.
With the new XT-7 body construction technology, the mechanism features a compact body, resulting in being free from its center of gravity, making it extremely comfortable even after many hours of fishing.
Propulsion
New spool lip design of the mechanism. Through thousands of tests and computer simulations, the Japanese company designed a new lip on the spools of Shimano mechanisms named Propulsion. The Propulsion design offers even greater casting distances and prevents line or thread tangling during casting or retrieval.

This particular reel has been in my possession for over two years. However, it has a serious problem, as the lid keeps closing by itself. Additionally, when using an artificial bait weighing more than 15 grams, the line breaks, resulting in the loss of the artificial lure.
Overall, the damage I have suffered from the losses amounts to over 200 euros. Due to this malfunction, I am now in the process of searching for a new reel.
This review is about the fishing line length: 140 m
Reliable construction, lightweight, ideal for spinning and lrf. Very good brakes, at a reasonable price. I had no problem with line 0.2 to 0.5. The line was laying perfectly. Comfortable even for many hours of fishing. Very good value for money.
I was pleasantly surprised, following a friend's suggestion, I tried this machine with 0.08 mm quad thread and 0.12 mm octo thread, very good casts, lightweight and fast. If you want something reliable and economical, choose this one from this company, keep in mind it has a warranty, spare parts, and service. With other machines in long-term use, I haven't needed it, but it's good to have. It is intended for fish up to 2.5 kg and it handles them easily! I haven't had any tangles at all, I don't use the brakes much since I only use 1/3 of the thread's strength and the fish are relatively easy.
The mechanism delivered the goods after about 6 months, but I can't say it was worth the money, we struggled even with a magical 5 and a half kilos, but we managed to make it work!
Owner for 2 years. After extensive use and to save you extra money, I will tell you the following.
1) With thread, it creates endless tangles no matter how careful you are, resulting in losing many artificial lures due to its poor functioning.
2) The lid closes several times during casting, resulting in the thread being cut and the artificial lure being lost as well.
3) If you decide to engage in the spinning technique and your budget limits you, then I would only recommend buying it, but don't go through the process of buying expensive artificial lures because you will regret it in the end. In my opinion, keep it for a while and if you like the technique in the end, invest a little more money because it will be more cost-effective in the long run.
4) I won't mention the quality of the brakes at all because at around 42 euros, you can't have high expectations. However, it wasn't the worst disadvantage like the ones I mentioned earlier.
P.S. All of this has happened after many hours of research and use. After many changes of threads, lures, tests, videos from knowledgeable people in the field, as well as advice from more experienced individuals in the sport.
P.S. 2 The threads I have worked with were from pe 0.8 to pe 1.2, 8-strand braids from well-known companies, perfectly wound and tight on the spool. Before each cast, the thread was wetted with fresh water first, and the first casts were made close to avoid the aforementioned problems. It was not used in bad weather conditions (sideways wind, strong wind)
I bought it for LRF 6 months ago. Very easy and user-friendly mechanism, it doesn't tangle the thread at all. And it is extremely lightweight. My 8-year-old son usually operates it. I am very satisfied so far.
