Reviews
Perfect, in general, almost all AMD CPUs are the same for a mid-end to high-end PC, whether Ryzen 3 or 5, everything is fine. It's just that this particular one doesn't have integrated graphics, which is good to have
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Looking for a processor, I got caught up in the thought of adding another 20 to get a better model, then 30 for the next one, and so on.
Fortunately, in the end, I deleted everything, went back to the original choice, and I was justified; it is a BEAST!
P.S. I am not a gamer.Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? This processor is very good with the 1650 Super.
I play all games at 1080p high settings +60fps
It is for a low budget build.
I have boosted the clock speeds to be stable at 3.9

Did you find this review helpful? It's the best better than the core i3 in fps and in gaming it's worth a lot with a gtx 1650 it's TOP

Did you find this review helpful? The best thing about it is that it's worth it up to 100, maybe even up to 110. At 150, it's obvious that it's not worth it and you should go without a second thought for the 3600, especially if you need multitasking. Otherwise, temperatures are perfect, I haven't seen anything above 55 degrees, neither with gaming nor with rendering.

Did you find this review helpful? It is worth mentioning that I have paired the Ryzen 3 3100 with the 1660 Super, a wonderful experience with graphics on Ultra settings, with stable FPS above 144. I believe it is a budget solution for a gaming PC build, I recommend it without a second thought. As for the temperature, it is perfectly normal during multitasking. It does not exceed 44 degrees Celsius (combined with: 1660 Super, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 650W power supply)

Did you find this review helpful? The processor is quite competitive at 90-100€. The maximum I would spend on it is 110€. In combination with a b450 and 16gb ddr4 3200mhz and a decent-good graphics card, it can handle everything. The most powerful card it can handle without any bottleneck issues is the rtx2060-rx 5600xt. It has the same single core as its bigger brother, the 3600. In multicore, it naturally loses due to the smaller number of cores. Between this one and the 2600, I would choose the 3100 due to its better ipc. That's all I had to say.
Here is an example of a budget build I put it in

Did you find this review helpful?I have installed the CPU on an X570 motherboard because it pairs perfectly with an RX 570 8Gb. If I had gotten a more powerful one, it would have been useless. Everything works perfectly and runs smoothly in combination with a fast M.2 drive, after upgrading from an older I5-760 system that was still durable. Hopefully, in a year or so, there will be enough money to upgrade to a Ryzen zen3 and a solid graphics card. Until then, even the demanding game Assassins' Creed Odyssey can be played comfortably at 1080p with almost full detail (only antialiasing is set to low as it is resource-intensive), achieving 30fps easily.
In conclusion, I fully agree with the passmark rating that places this processor at the top in terms of value for money, as well as with the purchase that has it ranked highly.
I should also mention that it was purchased for 92€ (for comparison)

Did you find this review helpful?Tremendous processor for the money, the best value for money today! Now as far as marketing hype is concerned, it's irrelevant because it depends on what you aim for from your machine! If you're not aiming for multitasking, there's no reason to buy processors with many cores since 4 cores with high GHz will be fair enough for many years to come in terms of gaming! Now if your goal is streaming, Photoshop, etc., this particular processor won't do! You should go for another processor like Ryzen 5 2600 or Ryzen 5 3600x! Personally, this processor in combination with GTX 1660ti runs most games on high ultra settings at 100+ fps... I repeat, don't fall victim to marketing by spending crazy money on processors with too many cores that will never work as they should! It's like having a Ferrari and keeping it in the parking lot just to look at it!

Did you find this review helpful?Amazing and excellent in games. I changed the cooler and put a Deepcool Assassin III, temperatures dropped to 56 under load with fans at 400 to 600 rpm at 4.5ghz with 1.256v.
Stable at 4.6ghz 1,317 under load temperature 64.
This processor costs 90 euros at the price it is currently being sold for 170, just stay away. Note only the stores that take advantage of the current tragic situation and do not buy from them, not even a screw.

Did you find this review helpful?I hear many people with minimal knowledge here saying about temperatures that it raises 76 degrees and so on, but even if you open YouTube after use, it may show you 50 degrees. Let alone playing a demanding game or a demanding application. The processor is very powerful and worth its money and more... there is no processor that doesn't raise temperature even if it costs 1,000 euros

Did you find this review helpful? For an economical solution, a GTX 1660 Super graphics card is worth it. The best combination.
Most new games can be played at medium -> high settings with Ryzen 3 1200. And even at max Ultra. Always talking about over 60fps/Hz.

Did you find this review helpful?5/5 for this little monster. Bravo to AMD for its rise in the game.... As for which processors are better, none is better than the other. They are tools and each one is for a specific task. AMD, for example, is great for editing because it has many cores/threads, and Intel, with its tremendous single-core performance, is perfect for gaming... As for the 3100, I can say that it is a good all-rounder and worth the 95 euros it is now. Otherwise, if you can wait and add 30 more euros, you can go for the 2600. But if you are only concerned about tasks like editing/streaming! Otherwise, the 3100 is the way to go.
I paired it with an MSI B450M PRO VDH MAX motherboard, which supported it directly without a BIOS update, and 16GB G.Skill RipjawsV 3200MHz C16 RAM, which easily reached 3200MHz with a simple XMP. The work I do with it is quite demanding with a lot of multitasking, and this little monster handles it decently

Did you find this review helpful? The processor is the best value for money option available at the moment for gaming, everyday tasks, entertainment, etc. I replaced my 2200g with this one and noticed a tremendous difference. However, for more professional use, demanding multitasking, editing, etc., it might be preferable for someone to spend a little more money and go for a 6-core processor. But for me, this processor covers everything I wanted and more. *****

Did you find this review helpful?Very powerful processor, for gaming in 1080p, with the corresponding GPU of course, it does its job very well, thanks to its high base clock, although the cooling fan is not the best in terms of temperatures, so it would be good to also get a cheap aftermarket cooler. If you find it for 100-105 euros, it is a very good choice

Did you find this review helpful? The processor is the best for its price. I have overclocked it to 4.1Ghz with the stock cooler and I have no problems.
If you have a higher budget, with a little extra money, you can get the more powerful R5 1600 AF

Did you find this review helpful? The processor in combination with the 1650 Super is the value for money combo for me. It's worth it at 100 to 120€ because then you go up to 135€ for the 3300x and not to the Ryzen 5 1st and 2nd generation. It may have more threads and 2 extra cores, but the 3100 has better performance in gaming due to the 3000gen technology and you can overclock it even more. The extra FPS you have in games with the 3100 compared to the 2600 are:
cs go all low: 30-110fps more with the 3100
fortnite competitive: 10-20 fps more with the 3100
lol ultra: 10-50 fps more with the 3100There are also videos on YouTube for all of this, for those who don't believe

Did you find this review helpful?I have been using it for a week now and I can say that it is really worth it. I bought it for 107 and with an rx 5500xt I can play everything satisfactorily.
I will return after 2 months to complete the evaluation. The processor is beastly, the only issue is its temperatures, not something crazy but I have to mention it. For example, with the stock cooler in gaming (gta rp) I reached a maximum of 76 degrees. If you buy it, consider getting a better cooler.

Did you find this review helpful? At the moment, for anyone looking for a processor for gaming and casual streaming, this is the best value for money. If the games you play are competitive and you use low graphics, you will see a much greater difference from the 2600. I highly recommend it!
