High-Performance Gaming Monitor
The MSI Optix is a high-performance gaming monitor aimed at users seeking a complete gaming experience with high resolution and refresh rate. It features a 1500R curvature for a greater sense of immersion and a spacious 178-degree viewing angle, a resolution of 2560x1440, with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms. It also includes technologies such as Adaptive Sync to avoid tearing and stuttering, making it ideal for gamers who play demanding games.

Optix monitors are equipped with a 165Hz refresh rate and VA panel with 1ms MPRT response time, offering advantages in fast-moving game genres such as first-person shooters, fighting, racing sims, real-time strategy, and sports.
These types of games require very quick and precise movements, which an extremely high refresh rate and response time will give you an edge over your competition.
Gaming should not be a choice between choppy gameplay or broken frames. Get smooth performance at virtually any frame rate with AMD FreeSync technology.
With an ultra-narrow bezel, enjoy the best possible experience in the latest games with a 180-degree multi-monitor setup.
Common monitors usually have flickering about 200 times per second, which is not noticeable to the naked eye, but can cause fatigue over time. MSI Anti-Flicker technology provides a very comfortable viewing experience by reducing flickering.
Colors and details will remain sharp at more angles compared to other monitors with smaller viewing angles.
Optix monitors are optimized to produce less blue light emitted from the screen, so you can play for longer periods without eye fatigue.

I was torn between AOC and MSI, and I can say that it is very good for its price. 2K gaming with a good GPU, nice colors, easy menu, very elegant screen for 280 something that I bought it there was no competition, it's worth it fully until now, I hope it lasts.
The screen is excellent with very good construction materials. I noticed, like most people, some bleeding in the corners on black images, but overall I don't easily notice it. Even on black scenes, I see everything just fine. The response and hertz are amazing. The menu is user-friendly and gives the user many options. It includes an in-monitor crosshair. I highly recommend it, although the price could be a bit lower!
In a few simple words, after trying out 3 identical screens:
+ Incredible colors [with a little custom calibration for each of us since we have different color perceptions]
+ Crystal-clear display of anything the screen projects [especially black scenes in a BRIGHT room]
+ Sturdy and lightweight construction
+ 27' 2k 165hz, a must-have combination in 2020
~ Response time of about 7-8 milliseconds in most games I've tried [almost like all VA screens], which is not a big issue but it is inaccurate and a marketing trick.
~ Normal viewing angles [it fits in an office, not a living room... From 1 to 3 people max will be able to view simultaneously in 99% of cases]
- Ergonomics on this screen are lacking... There is only ergonomics on the vertical axis and it is unacceptable, so whoever gets it should pay attention to the height of their desk.
- BACK LIGHT BLEEDING: a problem known to everyone who has researched monitors... All 3 panels that passed through my hands had exactly the same issue in this area, with 2 of them having it very much and 1 having it excessively... It was present all around the screen and in the corners... In a bright room, no one will notice anything... Everything is perfect... But as soon as it gets dark and the lights go out... Well, you won't be able to watch a movie... Your eyes will be fixated on that issue... Unfortunately, it is a HUGE problem that cannot be addressed in any way and it forced me to reject this product
I am the owner of this specific monitor for a month now and I have to say that it is the best monitor I have used in 1440p resolution.
I have it for gaming and movies and it is completely comfortable and with very nice colors. Also, the 165hz in combination with a system that can support them take competitive gaming to another level. It was worth every euro from its price.
