The honey from the sweetberry is produced by the Souka family on the slopes of Achaia. The flowering of the sweetberry begins in November, and its flowers provide pollen and nectar until late spring.
Contains:
Taste: It has a distinctive strong, very rich bittersweet taste with aromatic notes of bitter caramel.
Nutritional Value: It is rich in trace elements and vitamins, and is one of the best choices for boosting the body. It contains natural antibiotic substances, has diuretic and antiseptic effects on the urinary system, and is used in cases of mild bronchial infections. Its calories are lower than other honeys due to the low percentage of glucose and fructose.
Aroma: It does not present a strong aroma.
Color: The color is initially yellowish and when it matures, it acquires a dark bronze color.

The pine honey is a special type of honey that has a slightly bitter taste. This particular one is one of the nicest pine honeys I have tried.
You can't really call it honey from thyme. Okay, it does have a little thyme in it. But thyme honey is very bitter. This is sweet, not bitter! And don't tell me it comes from other flowers because there is a big difference. It should have been more bitter, not so sweet.
I get a box of different honeys every year. I opened a chestnut honey 30 days ago and it was like water. It was stored in a shady and dark place. My friend who deals with honey told me that it had glucose inside. Can the manufacturer respond?
I am a middle-aged Cypriot, and when I don't have an opinion because it's the first time I try this type of honey, and because I had the desire to try all types of honey before "kicking the bucket (the bucket)". The appearance resembles heather honey, Wikipedia says that they may mix pine honey with heather honey, even if it is heather honey and they added essential oil or pine extract, again I would not have an opinion because there is no equivalent to compare it to if it is authentic, I have never been to a honey exhibition neither here in Cyprus when I don't know. Anyway, it calms the stomach somewhat. I will continue the marathon of trying Greek honey
I bought this specific honey in a product exhibition at Syntagma Square. For many years, I have been eating pine honey, so I have a point of comparison. It is one of the best pine honeys I have tasted. It was spring pine honey from the year 2023. Creamy and slightly bitter with an intense aroma. Its taste was perfect. I immediately searched online to order it again. I highly recommend it.
The honey that comes from the fir tree is not a common honey that you find in the supermarket and is not intended for all consumers. Its taste is not like that of regular honey, on the contrary, it is a bit bitter and very thick. It would be good, therefore, when we do not know something, not to write anything. Golden rule: It is better to chew than to speak...
Of all the honeys from the forest, this one is my favorite. Its taste and aroma are unique!
