Description
The company Ernie Ball is a pioneer in Rock and Roll electric guitar strings. Since establishing the industry standards for electric guitar strings, the list of Slinky users continues to grow, already including top musicians such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Angus Young, Slash, John Mayer, John Petrucci, Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, and Steve Vai. If you like the tone, you'll love the Slinkys! The wound strings are made from a blend of pure nickel wrapped around a tin-plated, hexagonal steel core. The plain strings are made from a special composition of carbon-enriched steel, which is then galvanized (covered with tin). These strings produce a warm and rich tone. Classic set with a gauge of 009.

If you want to play Blues - Rock n Roll, these are the right strings because they don't have a "polished" sound, but a Vintage feel.
Very good durability, especially if you wipe the fretboard with a cloth after playing so that no residues remain.Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? - This review is about the diameter: 11 - 48 "
D-Standard tuning, on a 25 1/2" scale, convenient set. Loose/soft, but they hold the tuning. I haven't played with the regular Slinky (I play with Cobalt) for years (maybe even a decade), and when I wanted to play rock again, I went completely to the opposite side. So I don't know if the sound change from the regular Slinky to these ones is dramatic.
