The author is a military man who retired and became a stay-home dad, raising his 3 children instead of his wife. Whatever knowledge/experience he gained, he published in a little guidebook. A good manual with instructions that prepares you from before the arrival of the baby up to the age of 3 years. Simple, funny, substantial, understandable without too much blah-blah and based on simple common sense. The book is primarily aimed at dads as there are some simple military analogies (e.g., deactivating an explosive device = changing a diaper, baby = recruit) without this meaning that it is not recommended for women. Having read other books to prepare for the baby, I can say that this helped me much more than some others that are "scientific" as it contains useful, simple, everyday tips for living with a baby. The only downside is that it refers you to the website for further information (such as new videos or group chats with other commando-dads, useful links, etc.) which unfortunately no longer works. The author's videos are still available on YouTube, however.
Simple and easy-to-read book.
Tips from the author's experiences.
Don't expect something scientific, but things you will encounter in your everyday life with a baby.
Personally, it has helped me and still helps me!
Very entertaining book for a man, where it creatively explains important information. I recommend it!!!
Simple and practical book with nice tips for a future dad-fisherman :D
Don't expect something scientific, more personal experiences and how to do basic things correctly.
