However, it is not very good when it comes to video in low light conditions, like at night for example. The only somewhat weak point is the front camera. If the lighting is good, it takes good photos, but overall, if it's not perfect, like with lamp light indoors at night, the quality of the photos is mediocre and the colors don't come out well, like in hair, eyes, etc. In other words, to take a good selfie, you need daylight and a lot of it. Personally, this is not a significant problem for me. I don't know if in 2024 I would buy it because it is a 2019 model, and I imagine that there are probably much better models available at this price now, but overall it is a very good mobile phone that you get to keep. It's not like you buy it and after 2 years you have to get another one because it broke, became slower, or something stopped working.

What can I say about this phone, it is the best thing that has ever come into my hands (after iPhone 12, S21, etc., and newer flagships that I have used from friends, etc., I didn't buy them).
Comparatively, as a whole, it is the only mobile phone that has the fewest negatives and it brings me joy to have it every day. It has no bugs, it doesn't feel slow no matter what you run, very good photo and video quality (okay, let's not lie here, newer iPhones and S models excel in this aspect). It is small and convenient, and it does everything very well. Why would I change it?
The best thing Huawei has ever released and what they have given us is what they deserve as a company (I have had Huawei phones since 2014). I think I have fallen in love with it and it will be a big dilemma for me when the time comes to decide what to replace it with, whenever it decides to go solo (I hope it takes a long time). For something similar, you easily surpass the 1000-euro mark, and it would not sit well with me to get anything cheaper...P.S. Don't update it, it has bloatware and it will drain the battery. Okay, the phone is fire as the previous reviewers said, I have had it since February 19, back then it cost 200 euros less. It easily competes with the phones of the 23 series and any flagship you want. The only problem I encountered was that suddenly one day I had no speaker. I tried everything, even changed the battery in the end, not only for the speaker but also because I am a clumsy user in general and it was necessary. The speaker never got fixed, and I tried everything. Even so, I preferred to spend 200 euros to keep this phone for a longer time rather than buying a new one. It has lasted another 1.5 years since then. Of course, I am still without a speaker and I use the alarm from my old phone. But now it's time to say goodbye and switch to the Asus Zenfone 10. If Huawei still had Google services, I wouldn't even think about it, but we all know it doesn't. I'm glad to see that the value of this phone is still high. It's worth it. Four stars though because I got a defective device with the speaker.

In 2021, the mobile phone is still competitive. In 2019, it was possibly one of the top 5 mobile phones, if not the best.
The camera is still top-notch, the speeds are still very high, the battery is okay, and the speaker is quite good.
I bought the phone for 250 euros, so I definitely don't regret it, but for 2021, I don't know if it's worth 450 euros. Photos evolve every year on mobile phones, as do speeds, batteries, and screens.

I expected a better battery, but it charges very quickly. The camera is very good, although it tends to be slightly intense and greenish as the sun sets. The flash is not necessary, but if someone uses it, they should use the permanent flash, not the automatic one, as it can blur the photo. The macro mode is automatic. It has many extra features for videos and photos. The OLED screen is very good, so I recommend using a tempered glass. The back is very sensitive and slippery, so a case is necessary. The signal is great and the calls are flawless. In videos, it doesn't have OIS, so if the lighting is not good, the stabilization can have some issues. I have had it for 10 months and I have to say it works better than when I first got it. As time goes by, I appreciate it more and more. It's a small and lightweight useful tool. I compare it closely to the iPhone XS Max. It looks you in the eye, but not in videos. If it had infrared and FM radio, I would buy another one to have it forever.

I was looking for a mobile phone to replace my old Sony XZ1. I wanted it to be as convenient to hold and have superior features compared to mid-range mobile phones. My first choice was the Xiaomi Mi 10T, but it was rejected due to its size, as well as some other options (LG G8S ThinQ, Samsung S10, Sony Xperia 5..). In the end, I settled on the P30 and after 4 months of use, I believe I made the best choice. It sits just as comfortably in my hand as the XZ1, but with a larger screen and very satisfactory image quality. The Kirin 980 and 6 GB of RAM perfectly cover my performance needs as the phone doesn't lag anywhere (I don't have an opinion on gaming as I'm not involved). Its camera is impeccable, especially in low-light conditions. Call and wifi quality are also excellent. Battery life, according to my own comparison measures, is moderate to good, and the fast charging is a plus. Its speaker is average, especially when compared to the XZ1's dual stereo speakers. Yes, I would like it to have stereo speakers, IP65 and IP68 certification instead of IP53, and the ability to use regular Micro SD cards for memory expansion, but at a purchase price of 430 euros, I can only be satisfied with my choice.

It doesn't lag at all, even with demanding games (I always play PUBG on HDR graphics and Extreme Frame Rate). It has 6 GB of RAM, so it doesn't have any issues whatsoever. The camera is very impressive, even in low light conditions, especially with Night Mode, it takes amazing photos. Overall, I have to add that Huawei and Honor phones have a lot of camera features, which are also user-friendly, compared to other phones (which is why I was a former user of the Honor 6X). The video quality is very good, it has 4K and even the ability to do optical zoom while recording video, very good stabilization (even though it has EIS and not OIS on the main camera, for those who know). The only thing that bothers me is the battery. Although it lasts for a day even with gaming, for a phone that costs 400€, they should have included a battery with at least 4000 mah. Here, Xiaomi phones that cost 180€ have batteries of 4000 and 4500 mah, so why not include a high-performance phone with a high-capacity battery? Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!
