It meets my expectations. The internal plastic lid that isolates liquid contents from the outer lid is very good. Even better is the internal lid in the 5000ml jar that has a covered hole allowing you to pour out the liquid contents while holding back the solids (e.g., olives). The grip from the handle creates insecurity when the jar is full (especially with the 5000ml jar).
