A very good extender. I bought it a few months ago and it was truly fantastic! The only negative thing is that even though it connects easily, when I changed routers and got a newer model, I encountered a problem with the connection and I still haven't managed to fix it!
The second consecutive one I bought. The first one lasted for 1 year before it started having frequent disconnections on the WiFi, and now this one lasted only 9 months. It's a great inconvenience to ask for a warranty if the product hasn't completely broken, and unfortunately this one is very defective. I do not recommend it at all. Yes, I did use it heavily due to multiple devices connected daily (laptops, mobile phones) by 3 people, but it's not justified for it to break in less than 1 year. Also, the speed it supports is very poor. At a short distance from the router without any walls in between, I have a 55mbps download speed due to a direct connection with a cable and 10% overhead with Ethernet, but the speed on the TP LINK drops to a maximum of 30mbps in the best case scenario. Many times it even goes down to 20-25. I bought another TP LINK extender now in the hope of finding a better product. I wish I could use powerline, but unfortunately it's a headache in my house. My brother, who has the WiFi, is having a ball. If the electrical connection in your house is easy, I recommend it 100 times more. Let's say if you have single-phase power, don't even think about powerline, go directly for it. If the WiFi extender is still the only option, choose another product instead of this potato. Although I struggled a bit to connect it because I don't have it with electronics, it ultimately covers its range comfortably on the lower basement floor - because I have the router on the upper floor - we're talking about one floor, with the staircase in between, closed doors, and the signal is perfect. I recommend it, it has saved me!
