Description

Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray and liquid form. Its uses are numerous. It seals, insulates, adds color, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and surface reinforcing, insulating cables and pipes. It protects against corrosion and offers dielectric coating.

Application tips:

  • When the temperature is low, Plasti dip may not spray evenly. It is recommended to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes or to warm it on a heater.
  • Before painting, avoid greases or waxes to ensure proper application.
  • Remove guide tapes on the sixth “coat” while the Plasti dip is still wet.
  • Maintain the spray or gun in a vertical position and at a distance of 10-15 cm from the surface.
  • Clean the surface well before painting and eliminate moisture in the grooves.
  • Do not wash with active foam; use plain soapy water.
  • Contact with gasoline may fade Plasti dip, inform the employees at gas stations.

The ratio of thick Plasti dip to thinner for spraying is 1:1. It is recommended to use a spray gun with a nozzle of 1.5-2mm and low pressure (1.5-2bar). At least 6 good "coats" should be applied for large surfaces.
