Smart start function
It is used for extra protection of the electrical panel at home, in case e.g. there are many air conditioners. When a conventional high-current air conditioner starts its operation at start-up. In case there are a lot of air conditioners, this can cause a problem in the house board. With the Smooth Start function, the air conditioner at low current during start-up resulting in extra protection of the panel at home.

In 7 years it burned the circuit board & the motor of the external unit fan. The dealership is nonexistent with spare parts prices in... the stratosphere and ... I'm still waiting for their communication. To be completely honest, the evaluation is made in comparison to the performance of another MITSUBISHI air conditioner that I already have. The choice of this particular one was made due to cost and ultimately, as I have written in another review, you get what you pay for. Obviously, it is not a throwaway item, but compared to the MITSUBISHI, it is a few classes below. Of course, the purchase price is significantly lower, so you don't mind... We will live with it. The main disadvantages are three in my opinion. (1). It is not exactly quiet. (2). It does not provide as good cooling as the MITSUBISHI at the same settings. (3). The louvers can only be adjusted along the vertical axis.

It was purchased to heat a 30 sqm space with 12,000 BTU. It performs exceptionally well in a space with theoretically good insulation, however, the heat reaches other rooms that we did not expect due to the layout of the house. The dehumidification is also very good as we dry our clothes inside during the winter. The atmosphere it creates is very pleasant and I consider the purifier (ionizer) to be a big plus. I haven't seen the instructions for the WiFi yet because I'm not interested in it that much, however, I would say that it is quite discreet in terms of noise. Both the indoor and outdoor units do not bother you. For its price, I would recommend it 100%.

It has only 3 levels of air intensity besides Auto and the lowest one blows a lot and is not quiet at all. As a result, there is constantly air inside the room, which especially during cooling mode at night is very annoying and not suitable for a child's room. If I had known earlier, I would have preferred Toshiba or Fujitsu, which also have a quiet feature.

Sleep mode is not what we are familiar with in other air conditioners, meaning that in auto mode it does not reach or maintain a low noise level. It has a different philosophy. You set it to 26 degrees for sleep and after two hours it automatically increases by two degrees.

First contact with Toyotomi air conditioner. It was installed in a fairly well-insulated house with new aluminum frames, specifically in a unified living room-lounge-kitchen area of approximately 34 sq.m. In order to cool this space and lower the temperature that had been retained due to the heat (heatwave) from 32 to 22, the AC worked continuously at the highest speed and set at 19 for about 1 hour. I can't say it's noisy at the lowest or medium speed or in Auto mode, but it is noisy at the highest speed (as expected). I don't hear the external unit particularly. No creaking or strange noise from the indoor or outdoor unit. The remote control is very user-friendly. The wifi with the application (Ewpe Smart) connected on the first attempt, but it loses connection with the air conditioner (if I find a solution, I will come back). For a similar space of about 30 sq.m, definitely prefer more than 12,000 BTU. Also, prefer a package with "gift" installation, so the store and the installation workshop have full responsibility for anything that happens (also, the technical company provides a 12-month installation warranty). -1 star for the wifi problem, which is not negligible because it is the only way to open, close, and adjust the AC remotely (e.g. on the way home).
* Regarding wifi: After installing the application (Ewpe Smart) and connecting the AC to your mobile for the first time, there is a chance that after turning off the mobile (or closing the application) or turning off the AC, the connection may be lost. To reconnect the mobile after completely closing the application: 1. Turn off WIFI on the AC via the remote control. 2. Turn off (if it is on) and unplug the AC from the socket. 3. Plug the AC back into the socket. 3. Press the MODE & WIFI buttons together on the remote control - a beep will sound and the WIFI indicator will appear on the remote control. 4. Open the application and search-connect with the AC again (You may need to do this process 2-3 times until it stabilizes).
