I have been drinking salepi for years and I know its taste. I saw this today and thought to try it. This is flour with clove and minimal salepi (just enough so they don't get shut inside). Not recommended. This is not salepi.

The sachets do serve their purpose, but they increase the price. The truth is that they are convenient because the classic packaging where you simply open the nylon bag and take the desired dose with a spoon is better for adjusting the quantity, but because it is a 'powder' of salepi, it easily spills out of the packaging.

I haven't tried many different brands, so I can't reliably compare the taste to another brand. Compared to another one I have tried, I find it better. However, for the purpose for which I bought it, which was to help me with my uncontrollable cough (it was recommended to me as a 'doctor's remedy' but also 'officially' by a doctor), it did its job as it should. It has a quite floury taste (like all of them). I have also tried the version with added flavor to reduce the intensity of the salepi (which is not always pleasant) - I would recommend it for those who are not crazy about the taste but need to drink it.

Without sugar, yes, it has stevia, which is not mentioned in the ingredients on skroutz. Otherwise, good.

I expected it to come in individual packets like the others. It only has one large bag and has a high content of cornflower. It is not what I would expect.

Very good product. It is only available with sugar in supermarkets.
