Skroutz Tips
What to look out for when making your choice
Age and weight of the child: Choose a scooter that is suitable for your child's size and weight.
Safety features: Ensure that the scooter has appropriate safety features, such as a non-slip surface, to ensure that the scooter remains stable under your child's foot, and a brake, so they can learn proper use, speed control, and how to stop safely.
Adjustable height: Choose a scooter with adjustable height, as this will allow your child to adjust the scooter as they grow and use it for a longer time.
Size and design: Choose a children's scooter that is suitable for your space and a design that you consider appropriate for your child.
Build quality: Check the quality of the construction materials and components to ensure that the scooter is durable and safe for children.
Protective gear: Don't forget to buy protective gear, such as a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads, to protect your child from potential injuries.

The scooter is good for beginners... it requires a flat and smooth surface... otherwise, it's difficult to maneuver because the wheels are made of hard plastic and it gets stuck with the risk of falling... the stand came off in the first week... the brake broke after 10 days... that also came off from the frame... generally mediocre construction but also low price... if you can, give a little more for something of better quality..
Very good scooter for kids, which fortunately is more scooter and less toy. It folds for easy transport. Attention… it has two wheels, not three, which means it requires a short adjustment from the child.
It is fair for the money it costs (40 euros). Maybe I am a bit strict, I just deducted 2 stars because the support, which I considered an advantage when I bought it, turned out not to be! On any surface except for skate parks or asphalt, the support would open, causing the child to constantly have to close it and get annoyed. Eventually, after many attempts, we managed to remove it completely, so everything is fine. The second negative aspect is the opening/closing. It is not very easy, it is quite difficult, you push it from here, pull it from there... You manage to do it but it bothers you a little... it is not done easily. Other than that, it seems to have a good and durable construction, it is lightweight and easy to transport, when folded it takes up little space, the brake works effectively, and the child enjoys it.
It is difficult to find a scooter that does not lose screws, is not heavy but at the same time does not break easily. My children would prefer it to have two wheels in the front, but they manage just fine with one wheel. We bought a second one for the little one because we were very satisfied with the first one (used by two boys aged 11 and 8).
Nice skateboard, quite durable.
Disadvantage is that the brake literally melted and broke a little above its connection with the main body.
I couldn't find a replacement part, so the skateboard became unusable within 6 months.
Very good construction. It seems durable and can withstand up to 70 kilograms, even me. I just have a little difficulty with the closing lever, but my husband handles it well. Maybe I haven't found the right way yet. The little one enjoyed it.
Beautiful scooter and good construction! It withstands over 75 kilograms (tested). It also has a stand, so you don't have to leave it on the ground, which hasn't broken after almost a month of almost daily use! Its wheels are quite soft, resulting in good rolling quality. For its price, I would highly recommend it.
Clearly, it's not for tricks. It's okay for a child who wants to start and then get something better (the negative is that the brake is fake and broke within a day, the handlebar came slightly crooked but I fixed it easily myself. I recommend it to someone who is just starting now
For its price, it is value for money... It has nothing to envy from similar skates with double the price. Of course, time will tell because kids are tough users!
Edit 3 years later: I bought the same one for my 6-year-old son! Needless to say, the first one I got for my daughter still works perfectly fine.
Incredible scooter! I am thrilled, let alone my daughter, who received it as a gift! Excellent construction, nothing cheap about it. It can be folded to take up minimal space, folds in the middle, and the handlebar breaks down. There is a safety feature that keeps it stable both when open and closed. The footboard is huge and wide, comfortably accommodating adult-sized feet. The handlebar extends quite high (almost 1 meter at maximum), easily adjustable (no tools required, just tighten or loosen screws), and I can also ride it (I am 1.72 meters tall) without stooping, so it can grow with the child. Finally, it has a stand for standing upright, very practical. The little one loves it and it hasn't come apart. An exceptional product for its price.
