I will disagree. It is extremely accurate in measurement, sometimes it may show 0.1 error, but I take two or three measurements to be sure. To get an accurate measurement, you need to be in a warm room for some time. If you come from the cold, it will show an error, but it is logical since the forehead will be cold

    We bought it for the convenience of having an infrared thermometer. It shouldn't be an old-fashioned mercury one, but neither a digital armpit one. We mainly bought it for our 3 children because they don't sit still with the armpit thermometer. The deviation it has is 1 degree lower, meaning our little one had 37.5 and the infrared thermometer showed 36.5. Meanwhile, whenever we measure ourselves, it doesn't show us above 36.6-36.7, as if it has a cut-off indicator. Another thing it does is measure liquids, especially the baby's milk, to make sure it's not too hot or too cold. However, this function is not stable and you have to go back to the menu to activate it again. I don't know, but thermometers of other brands might be more reliable in their measurements. This one, however, is not. That's all from me.
