One of the best speakers I have purchased and I have owned it for over 3 years and I have to say that it was worth every penny (bought for 105 euros) the battery lasts for many hours, it is waterproof, I have taken it to the sea many times as well as to the bathroom resulting in a lot of water falling on it without it noticing anything. It connects easily to the phone and to any other device you want. Also, another positive is that it has a USB port to charge your phone while playing. Finally, the sound is of course amazing, very loud with very good and noticeable bass. For me, one of the best speakers for the price I bought it at. Now at 170 euros, I don't think it's worth it, you can find cheaper ones

I got it in April 2020 for €110 and it has turned out to be the best speaker for this size for outdoor squares and walks, it's just right, not too heavy or big, the volume and bass it produces for a mono speaker is the best you can find, battery lasts over 6 hours at high volume. Mine has been through sea, dirt, and has not been damaged at all, it claims to be waterproof and it means it. I have compared it with Xtreme 2 and it produced the same volume, prefer the Charge 4, 5 over any Xtreme speaker.
The best thing I have ever bought!!

First disappointment... monophonic!!! speaker. I got it blindly having the flip 4 for years which is really perfect.. To hear bass you will definitely need to adjust the sound from the equalizer of the playback device since the speaker does not have one (at least I didn't find it anywhere).. Compared to the Charge 3, this one is much better, I recommend it. Sturdy, quality, very good waterproofing, a battery that you forget to charge and quite quality sound at low volumes. In terms of volume and bass, it definitely doesn't justify its Watts and surely as the volume increases, it loses quality. A very poor choice to equip it with only one speaker internally, I'm not saying to make it stereo but surely a high driver (tweeter) would elevate it. For about the same money, you can get a Sencor Sirious SSS 6800 Maxi which is much, much louder, with 4 drivers (2 woofers + 2 tweeters)

Quality sound, good build quality at 120 euros is value for money, charges in 2 hours full, Bluetooth connection easy! I noticed that the 3.5mm jack has less volume than Bluetooth!!

Unfortunately, for my needs, I expected more dB from the 30W RMS. I tested it with XIAOMI POCO X3 and it played a bit louder than the phone!! The manufacturer gives a rating of 0-20 dBm which is dB (decibel) at 1m distance!

Conclusion: do not buy a speaker if you haven't heard it. I tested this one with classical music, heavy metal, disco, etc., and it has good sound, but to hear it, you need to have it close to you at 1m. I wanted it to listen to music in the car, but while moving, the engine noise and the wind drown out the sound of the speaker. Of course, for a party at the beach, forget it unless you are 2m away from the speaker!

I have had it for a year, the construction is quite good as well as the battery still lasts several days with the usage I give it. The only complaint I have is that they support old JBL technology for connecting multiple speakers simultaneously, resulting in newer models not being able to connect to them. You can listen to loud music at home, but it is not suitable for parties. The claims that it is noise-canceling are not true. Easy connectivity and long battery life. In terms of volume, it's a dud.
I had the JBL Flip Essential and without exaggeration, it was half the watts and I feel it sounded louder! Some of my friends who had heard both speakers agreed with me.
So the Flip has 16W while this one has 30W. How can the Flip be louder? Maybe because it is dual-channel while this one is mono?
