Very good, I make v60 every day and it is perfect. It grinds the beans as it should. You do need a bit of strength, of course, like with all manual ones.
It is made of plastic but at least from good materials. The big problem is that the ground coffee produced has an uneven size, which results in the coffee being slightly different each time or losing some of the flavor and aromas it would have otherwise.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a manual grinder, it's good, but I wouldn't buy it again.
Everything you need to exercise your bar every morning... It takes me about 3 minutes for a quantity of 2 cups and I would say that it requires strength, depending on the variety of coffee. There is inconsistency in the beans, but overall it is good for someone who is starting with a grinder and does not want to go for something very expensive. It is a different level to have freshly ground coffee every morning. I have only used it for Chemex - the reviews say that the grind is not fine enough for espresso machines.
The biggest negative is that if you disassemble it, you have no way of putting the setting back where it was, resulting in experimenting every time you need to clean it. For example, I have measured about 40 clicks, but I don't get it exactly. Also, the plastic container collects static electricity and a small amount of coffee (the very fine beans) remains on the walls. Be careful with the assembly, it is very easy to make a mistake.
It does a pretty good job, as long as you're not a perfectionist. It may not have the perfect balance in cutting. Nevertheless, it is lightweight, affordable, and performs very well.
Pay attention to how you tighten the adjustment screw. The English instructions did not have a clear note so that you don't tighten it in reverse, and for 2 months I was cutting coffee starting from fine and ending up very coarse because the adjustment screw was not stable. If you tighten it from the right side, it won't loosen - it clicks when you turn it to know approximately where it is set.
I use it for my Delonghi Dedica. I have achieved satisfactory results with the pressurized portafilter and with the unpressurized one, although it requires some experimentation for the non-pressurized one
Durable construction, easy adjustment, easy operation... a very affordable entry-level solution, combined with an Aeropress, makes the perfect travel coffee kit!
Quite a good entry-level grinder. I have been using it for a month with a Clever Dripper coffee maker and I have very satisfactory results. It grinds 16g of coffee in 1 minute (on the filter coffee setting, for moka pot it takes twice as long or even more). The particle size distribution is not incredibly uniform, although part of the problem is due to the fact that the bottom ceramic blade is not well connected to the axis, resulting in some play while grinding and allowing larger pieces to pass through. It can be somewhat improved by adding a piece of paper or tape to the axis and wedging the bottom blade. For €35, the coffees I have brewed are fantastic.
Very good manual grinder for freshly ground filter coffee and espresso. I have been using it for about 3 years, every day. It is lightweight and small in size, so it doesn't take up much space. It has an adjustable grind setting, and I have also used it for reusable Nespresso capsules with satisfactory results. It has a ceramic grinder, which means you shouldn't drop it, as there is a risk of it breaking. Personally, I really enjoy manually grinding coffee in the morning; it is part of a process that I love.
I use it every morning. Freshly ground filter coffee, there is nothing better! It makes the house smell like fresh coffee. User-friendly, it does its job perfectly. It has an adjustment for the grind size you prefer. I don't think it's suitable for espresso grinding, you definitely need a professional machine for that, but it works for filter and moka coffee makers. Very good quality, I recommend it, it's perfect for home use! Coffee lovers will love it.
