  I bought two for a house that has a cat and a dog. I have allergies (antihistamines and sometimes inhalers if the situation gets bad) to both, and now there is also the issue of the burnt wood that everyone burns outside, but also in the residence on another floor when they light the stove, there is a smell in my house that causes me to cough. After two days, for the burnt wood, I got a slight hint of smell for a very short time, but it doesn't last more than 10 minutes, my cough stopped, and my runny nose with sneezing almost disappeared. I believe it works; I don't know how long the filter will last, it says it lasts 6 months. I have allergies to pollen as well, and I think I will see a difference there too. It's worth the money; the filter is cheaper than other options, as is the purifier. On the negative side, it doesn't indicate how bad the air quality is, and the auto mode seems to just go from full speed to medium at random times rather than detecting pollution as stated in the instructions; also, the temperature is said to be whatever. Regarding the noise, I think at full speed it is audible, but okay, everyone perceives it differently. Now, regarding the assessment that the effectiveness of the HEPA is lower, yes, that is true; however, it doesn't only have HEPA but also an activated carbon filter and a pre-filter, so possibly together with these, the effectiveness may rise to the 99.97% that the company claims.

  3 stars, and maybe it should be less, for the misinformation in the description. It has an H11 HEPA filter, which reaches up to 95% of particles, not 99.97% as stated (which is the H13 filter).
