Lupine is an annual plant cultivated in the Mediterranean countries of Europe, Australia, and North America. It grows vertically, has flowers in white, yellow, blue, and pearly colors, and green leaves. The height ranges from 80-150 cm, and its leaves grow in a circular arrangement around the stem and branch around a central, vertical root. Its cultivation began in ancient Greece and Egypt and was considered an important part of the diet of the ancient Greeks. Later, it was regarded as an inferior product, and its cultivation ceased.
