It captures 99.97% of particles up to 0.3 microns in size. The filter has 3 stages:
1) The basic PET (mesh) filter filters out large particles and suspended elements.
2) The HEPA category (13), which is a genuine HEPA filter, filters out PM 2.5, PM 0.3 (particles up to 2.5 microns and as small as 0.3 microns), pollen, and other pollutants, allowing only clean air to pass through.
3) The activated carbon filter filters out formaldehyde, ammonia, chemicals, and odors, so you have no worries.It is the best filter in the Xiaomi series as it is the only one with official HEPA certification of category 13 for PM2.5 particles.
Do not be confused by the prices of the filters. The filters range from lowest to highest quality.
