I have had it for about 2 years and really, for the 5 euros I bought it, it is worth it and more. It accurately weighs the food, it has helped me a lot with my diet, it has a function that subtracts the weight of the container, and it is easy to handle. If it breaks, I will buy it again.
Unfortunately, I was deceived by its price and bought it as a second scale to have it at work for my meals. It loses excessively, compared to a branded scale of 25€, and comparing it to a factory-weighed product of 500g, the branded one showed 504g and this one showed 392g. After other weighings, it ended up in the closet because it is unreliable in its indications.
It is a very cheap construction and if I needed to be precise in my measurements, I definitely wouldn't trust it 100%. First of all, I put it on a stable surface and the scale is not stable. I don't agree with the idea that you get what you pay for because I wouldn't owe them €5 just to throw it away.
For the money, you could say it's okay. But the measurements are not so accurate, and after 1 year of use, it has broken
Cables come out from under the weighing surface. The plastic quality is laughable. And it doesn't weigh correctly. 0 stars
The money is definitely worth it because of its low cost. However, it is not accurate at small increments and I do not recommend it for small volume measurements in general. For simple cooking where a few grams don't matter, though, go ahead and get it even if it breaks again, it would still be worth it. It doesn't seem particularly sturdy, but I have been using it for several months and it hasn't had any issues.
It gives me 2-3 grams more and if I place it again, it gives me 2-3 grams less. Okay, for its price, it's fine, but if I knew, I would have spent an extra 10-15€ to buy something decent.
You can't get better value for money. 3 euros, and even after three years, the measurements are still great and it works perfectly.
I have had it for 2 years and I am satisfied. I use it weekly for bread, bagels, cake, and pizza at home.
Very easy to use. It does not weigh gram subdivisions. For the job I want it for, food measurement is excellent. I have lost 5 kilos in 1 month and it is due to the digital scale. It is an essential tool for someone who wants to go on a diet. Very economical with accurate measurements. Also, the buttons are waterproof.
I bought it based on the reviews....2 almost months after the purchase, not that it was accurate, but it didn't say anything about 4 to 5 grams difference. Now, as soon as you press it to reset on its own without anything, it adds and subtracts from 4 to 20 grams. So, one time it's +20 and the other time it's -15. I wouldn't recommend it
I wonder about the comments of some regarding the quality of construction. Did you buy it for its beauty or for it to do its job correctly? With its cost of 5 euros, it is the ultimate choice for someone who is an amateur and wants to weigh materials! Its calculations are extremely accurate!
After 6 months of use (and sometimes 3 times a day), it's still working fine. For 5€, I didn't expect it to be made of titanium, so if anything happens to it, I can easily recycle it without much thought.
+ Affordable
+ Accurate measurements
+ Convenient to use
- Very poor quality construction, it seems like if you push it too hard, for example, if it falls off a table, it will turn off
The good thing about Scroutz. The reviews. 3.89 for a scale? It's a steal. All the recipes came out right, even the Saint Honoré by Parliaros. With eyes closed
For its price, it's fine. Personally, I didn't have any deviations in the weight of the objects. The only negative is that the right front support "dances," but without losing measurements.
A simple kitchen scale is what does its job. It does not have great accuracy because it only calculates in whole numbers. For example, if I weigh 18 grams of coffee beans and it shows 19, I have to add a few more. It does not have the intermediate values 18.1-18.2-18.3-18.4, etc. If you are not concerned about high accuracy in weighing, it is good because it is very economical
Not the most quality construction that exists, but for amateur and occasional use it is fine for its price.
For the money, it's fine. It seems sturdy and the fact that it's very lightweight is a plus. Overall, I am very satisfied
It was very good and user-friendly, but it broke over time. In the first month, it became a mess... all over the place... I wouldn't buy it again
For its price, it's great!!!!! There is indeed a slight deviation, but as long as it is always stable, you can manage
It does its job perfectly. For its price, it is very good value for money. Only time will tell if it will last.
Very easy to use, and small in size so it doesn't take up much space. One of the best choices at a very good price.
I have had it for about 6 months and overall the purchase was a disappointment. It is quite cheap and it is logical that the quality is not good, but when it doesn't do the job for which I bought it, it is logical to give a bad review. While it was good and user-friendly at first, after about 3 months it started to turn off on its own as I was using it. I cannot recommend it to anyone.
I bought it and it broke after two months. It generally weighs correctly without having used it much. It's not worth it
While the box stated that it included batteries, the batteries were nowhere to be found. Additionally, after 3 days of use, the on/off button stopped functioning properly. It turns on whenever it feels like it. Another negative aspect is that if you want to weigh multiple ingredients together in one bowl, the screen automatically turns off (possibly to save battery), so you have to turn it on again, weigh again, etc. I am not satisfied at all. It's better to pay a little more.
Very good accuracy, maybe the measurement base should have been slightly larger. Also, the construction is cheap, resulting in it not sitting completely stable. But it measures correctly for everyday kitchen tasks, worth the purchase money.
Value for money, this scale is amazing! I have been using it for daily measurements for several months now and it has been extremely helpful.
A simple, cheap, and good scale. If someone expects to weigh with great accuracy (0.5g), they won't be able to do it. In the case that they want to weigh materials for cooking - pastry, it's very good.
Super for now, it does its job just fine. Okay if someone wants precision in pixel grammar, maybe it's worth giving something more, but for its price, it's fantastic.
For the money, it is excellent. It also removes the excess weight. As for the construction, it is average (all plastic), but it definitely worth it and it is also significant that the batteries are included.
The buttons 'ON/OFF', 'MODE' & 'TARE' are of poor quality and do not function properly, pressing one activates all of them.
