  It is not a single piece, it is 10 or twelve squares if I remember correctly, connected to each other which helps to remove sections if they are not needed.

  I bought it for the balcony railings. The first pleasant surprise was that it is modular. That means it has small pieces that you can (with a little effort) remove and put back in. I installed it with tape, I don't know how long it will hold because the balcony is very windy, but it seems quite sturdy to me. I will come back to this.
