It cleans the washing machine internally quite well, but you need to follow the recommended program, meaning depending on the usage every 6 months for optimal results.
**It is not a replacement part, if you want for other purposes there is a corresponding product (antiscaler).

Both the washing machine cleaner and the corresponding one for salt do the job, I just believe that their price is high for a single use. Also, white vinegar with baking soda works wonders with regular use.

In a Whirlpool 8kg washing machine that had developed odors, it significantly reduced them, let's say 90-95%, after using two packages in a 2.5 hour program at 95 degrees. No problem, it did its job, maybe some other product does it better but I have no comparison measure. The missing star is because I believe that a product that is "value for money" should receive a 5/5, as we usually say, and in this case I did not have this feeling at all after use. I believe I will eliminate the remaining 5-10% of odors in one or two more cleanings. In the future, I will use it at least every three months. That's what I understood. For best results, use the cleaning program. However, you need to pay attention to how the program works. Mine does a quick wash first (not even 5 minutes) and then throws out the water, resulting in the first time I used this cleaner, a hole was made in the water. Now, the second time, I put it in afterwards and it washed perfectly fine.

It does the job, but I didn't see a huge difference from vinegar and soda. Theoretically, it is designed not to damage the parts of the washing machine. Also, it is for maintenance, meaning if the washing machine is very dirty, don't expect miracles.

It was not as effective as I expected. Another German brand powder has done a much better job, and even white vinegar with sour powder also had better results than this product. It was okay for the surface and smells. However, it was inadequate for cleaning the mud outside the bucket and behind the tires.

Ideal if the washing machine has started to accumulate limescale. NEVER pour it into the detergent drawer though, as it is corrosive to the plastic pipes (and the instructions state that it should be placed directly in the drum)
