It does what it says, probably. I say probably because the coffee maker hasn't reached a point of producing low-quality coffee and requested cleaning.

The manufacturer recommends it, and that's why I chose it to make sure I do what I need to continue drinking quality coffee.

Necessary to maintain the quality of coffee at high levels. Sufficient instructions for use, in my machine (Gaggia brera) the descaling process could be easier. After descaling, I did not notice any difference in the taste of the coffee. Also, the descaling indicator came on after about 2 months of use and the whole package is needed for one descaling, so in time I will need 6 packages, but it also depends on how many coffees you make per day and the hardness of the water in your area. I bought it 1.5 years ago for 13.50 per bottle, which is very expensive! Its current price is much more reasonable for the quantity you get, and I finally managed to buy it to descale my Gaggia Classic.

Use with the product is relatively frequent due to water in the area, but it ensures the good and continuous operation of the gaggia brera without expensive repairs due to salts.
