I have had them for about a month. The blades have a coating that easily comes off. The handles have a soft coating that even comes off with a nail. The top part of the handle is peeling off, it has already started to come off from the two knives I usually use. The blades are very thick and not particularly sharp. The base, although bulky, holds the knives firmly. I would not buy this product again.
