I used it on an acrylic bathtub without any problems. In 10 minutes, the silicone residues liquefied. With a second pass, nothing was left. Very satisfied.
It was tested on white and transparent silicone that had been placed for years on a painted wall (residues from sealing aluminum frames that were removed).
Generally, you need to apply as much as possible for it to work and get the job done (the more you apply, the easier it is to remove later). Depending on how thick the silicone is at the point, it may require more applications to completely remove it. Of course, you need a spatula or something sharp for removing the silicone.
The liquid is like a gel. It doesn't drip. It doesn't smell or burn your nostrils (it smells something like lemon). Easy application with the cap - brush (like the blanco in a bottle). It takes about 10 minutes to take effect.
I received it in a different packaging with the brush attached under the cap (like a blanko), which was more convenient for both application and storage. Its scent is neutral and it didn't cause any damage to PVC, marble, tiles, and grout, and it rinses off very easily. It did a good job on silicone residues, after 3 applications and 10 minutes of waiting in between, they started to rub and scratch off very easily. Thick layers of silicone, of course, require cutting or removal with a chisel or the known Chinese plastic pointed tools.
