Description

The Cort KX300 Etched electric guitar is covered in matte black with highlighted yellow details applied only to the wood grain on the beautiful Ash wood top.

This stunning guitar is also equipped with matching colored EMG RetroActive Super77 humbuckers, which have been tested and proven by existing Cort models to pair excellently with the mahogany body.

Ash top on mahogany body

The 15mm Solid Swamp Ash wood features an open-pore sandblasted finish with red color accents on a matte black background to exude a unique 3-dimensional look that Cort calls "Etched".

The combination of Ash wood in a mahogany body complements each other to produce a warm and thick mid-low frequency tone.

EMG RetroActive Super 77 Set

Designed with today's metal sounds in mind, the EMG RetroActive Super77 pickups provide a very clean high output with exceptional articulation and focus on the low strings and a singing high-end.

Hardtail Bridge with String-Thru Body

The hardtail bridge with string-thru-body improves sustain as well as enhancing resonance through the mahogany body.

Pau Ferro Fretboard with Raindrop Inlay

Pau Ferro is a dense hardwood with a tonal character somewhere between maple and rosewood. Pau Ferro also has the smooth feel of ebony and a luxurious high-quality appearance.

The new "Raindrop" inlay on the fretboard, designed specifically for this model, offers a distinctive look.

Neck construction from durable maple wood
