The chromax.black NH-L9a-AM4 is an all-black version of the award-winning low-profile Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 CPU cooler for AMD Ryzen-based HTPC builds and Small Form Factor (SFF). Thanks to the same successful heatsink design and the NF-A9x14 PWM fan, it stays true to the successful formula of the NH-L9a-AM4, combining a height of just 37 mm with strong performance and excellent silent operation, as well as 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility.

    Excellent build quality, well-packaged, perfect design, and ideal size for a Small Form Factor PC. In terms of size, it is the best available in the market, but BEWARE, the performance is sufficient for 65w TDP (e.g. Ryzen 5 5600), if you have 105w (5800-5900), you will need to put it in eco-mode or tolerate the fan running at full speed at 2000 RPM, which can be quite audible. For 105w, therefore, in an SFF implementation, prefer the NH-L12S
