It is placed on the security door of the entrance (I emphasize this because on a regular door it would cause damage to the product due to the pressure between the door and the frame or possibly the door would not close at all) and it is a perfectly functional gadget for those who would like to exercise in the comfort of their own home. It does not leave marks on the door and it is lightweight. It is very easy to install on the side of the door for the entire range of exercises you would like to cover. I always recommend locking the door before starting to use it for greater security.
