The power supply seems to be a good choice for those seeking reliability and stable performance. It has proven to be durable in use from early 2022 until today. However, a small intervention was necessary during this period, as its fan started making noise and needed lubrication.
I come after 2-3 years to evaluate this power supply since I recently encountered it again. I had bought it to complement some things I had and to build a computer for my little brother. It worked in a gaming PC with an r5 2400g and rx 580 8gb. It was recently upgraded to an r5 5600 and 4060 and it handled it just fine. The power supply has proven to be worthy of its price so far.
When I bought it three years ago (750w for 45 euros back then, very good), it simply had a Ryzen 5 5600G without a graphics card and with some RGB fans and cooler, nothing else. A year and a half ago, I upgraded to a Ryzen 5 7600 and a Sapphire Rx 6600. I tested it with a stress test for two continuous hours and there was no issue. The fan is not very loud and nothing happened when there was a power outage. The cables are sleeved, but inside are the classic red, yellow, and black wires. It has 1 CPU connection cable and 2 PCIe for cards which are in series and not separate. It has excessively many molex SATA cables which make cable management difficult if it's not inside a large case. It is ONLY for budget and not for anything more (up to 550w total, I would trust it).
UPDATE 12/16/2024
For several days now, every time I turn on the computer, the power supply has started making coil whine only when it boots. If it draws enough power, nothing can be heard
I bought it for a friend of mine who I set up a budget gaming pc for, as it was one of the cheapest 600W PSUs with 80plus standard. Complete with all the necessary cables, it has everything. So far, he hasn't encountered any issues.
The only negative thing it has is the chassis, the metal is not of very good quality, that is, when I tried to screw the screw on one side, the thread broke! Otherwise, it is very stable, especially on the 5V rail, it is neither much lower nor higher than 5V! It plays between 5.13V and 5.16V. Also, it did not have its own screws, why is that? And finally, the power cable was not of very good quality, it smelled like plastic!
I did not expect to find such a power supply in the market, I have had it for 4 years and it is very efficient, it did not bother me at all and had no problems whatsoever. I bought it for 70 euros back then, it is used for gaming (rx 570) and work tasks. It only slightly bothers me in terms of cable management, but it is quite good overall, just value for money. I will prefer the other models as well
It is very lightweight and its cables appear cheap, but for 40 euros you can't expect much. However, it is infinitely better than the cheaper model of 15-20 euros from the same company.
In our own Build with Ryzen 1600X and GTX 950 OC, we had absolutely no problems, it didn't shut down, overheat, or make any noise. It worked continuously for 24 hours, passed many stress tests, and played several games.
We used it in a build that you can see here: https://youtu.be/4Q_ZogwX7bQ
I have it here for a year and a half and it's driving me crazy! From the 3rd month, the fan makes a quite loud noise. The cables don't move at all to do proper cable management. With an extra 25 euros, you can get a full modular one and have peace of mind!
Two months have passed without any problems. I forced it a couple of times and it didn't present any malfunctions. Of course, I hope that the CPU fan errors I have are not due to incorrect product supply.
Guys, this power supply is for simple use at most. Minimum performance, I would say, for gamers, etc. Useless, better give a few more euros, it's not worth it. The 80+ certification is Chinese with a signature from a Greek engineer, so you can understand
I would like to inform technicians and others that the power supply is from bad to worst. I ordered 5 pieces for my service and 2 out of the 5 didn't work at all. The SMPS controller detects a short circuit and immediately stops the power supplies. My question is, how can you label it as "pass" when the product doesn't even work... unacceptable, nobody should buy it.
Guys, I just received it yesterday and it is really great value for money because it performs as it should for maximum performance. I highly recommend it with closed eyes.
