I saved a good dehumidifier which, due to zero maintenance from its previous owner, had developed mold on the dust that had accumulated from heavy use in its refrigerator. I use it twice a year and spray the ceiling of my room, which turns black from humidity (once at the beginning of summer when the humidity that has accumulated from the winter, when the room is not sufficiently ventilated, goes away, and once at the end of summer when it has become humid again due to the a/c). Honestly, the ceiling becomes white again in no time. The only thing needed is caution. That is, I first cover the bed with a large plastic sheet (like the one painters use to cover things), and then I spray. Especially if it falls on colored fabrics, it whitens them instantly.

Yes, the smell is very strong, so make sure to wear a mask and protective glasses if it's on the ceiling because it drips. It definitely requires good ventilation for a few hours afterwards.
Lastly, know that it removes and damages any fabric it comes into contact with, so be very careful. Wear old clothes and cover anything that could be damaged. I had used those nylon covers we use when painting and I had covered everything because the problem was on the ceiling.

I sprayed it on the shower ceiling, which hadn't been cleaned for 2 years and was filled with mold due to humidity. I left it for 10 minutes and then rinsed it with the showerhead. The result is that only 2-3 marks remain where the mold damaged the color. The ceiling is spotlessly clean and the mold has disappeared.
*Very careful, it smells very, very strong. It's better if your bathroom doesn't have a window to do it in the summer when you can have windows open throughout the house because the smell of chlorine is very intense. It goes away quickly after rinsing, but while the product is on, the smell is unbearable.
