The most important thing is that it covers the entire front. That means it leaves no gaps, not even half a millimeter, unlike the tempered glass for its bigger sibling, the Huawei Mediapad T5 10.1", which is really disappointing. Now, if the tablet happens to fall down and we find out in practice whether it protects the screen or not, I will come back for a reevaluation.
