It cleanses the fine sediment particles, so I recommend it for the first stage of water purification. Especially when there are old pipes

I tried 2 of these specific filters, one that came with the device and an extra one that I purchased. Both had the exact same problem. In tap water that never had a smell with these filters, the water becomes stiff with a very strong odor. I kept the first filter for a week in case it would get rid of the smell, and replaced it with the second one. I have had it for 2 days but the smell has not decreased at all. I have ordered filters from another company in case they work and I don't have to throw away the device.
